Logitech G710+ Mechanical Gaming Keyboard

You might be saying... "Another keyboard review?" This is a different type of product than just a normal keyboard. The Logitech G710+ may be a gaming keyboard, but it is much more. Mechanical switches control how this keyboard works and if you've never...

The Logitech G710+ retails for about $110 at the time of this review. We highly recommend this keyboard and there is nothing more to it than that. Logitech is a brand we trust and combing their stellar design and manufacturing with a mechanical switch...

Logitech G710+ Mechanical Gaming Keyboard Review

The gaming world turned head over heels in 2011-2012 for mechanical keyboards. Going ga-ga for these bouncier, louder typing tools came and left abruptly after major game peripheral brands began producing high-end boards to meet the [...]

Excellent type experience ; Quiet-ish keys that belie the “mechanical” part ; Long list of useful features for gamers and non-gamers alike ; Great price considering all the included features and the excellent type

Brightness settings do not apply to Lock functions ; The space bar is poorly designed and needs regular maintenance

defective keys

I bought this to replace a fifteen dollar keyboard I bought many years ago that still works fine. It didn't even work out of the box. Not good.

I like the cherry brown mechanical switches. They are fairly quiet, but far from silent. The keyboard layout seems pretty good

Several keys were non-functional out of the box. This is a non-starter. I am not having the LED problems other users report

Had a few days

Tested on a PC, Win7. Took some reading the booklet to understand exactly how the macros work work.

As advertised, quieter keystrokes than other mechanical keyboards I've used, and still has the good impact 'feel'. Love the keyboard layout, the audio keys, and the macros. They're above what I expected them to be able to do, including timings, etc ;...

Lowering the brightness of the keys also does not lower the brightness of the num lock light/capslock/scrollock lights ; Takes up 2 USB slots, may not be a big deal to most because I just plugged my mouse's usb into the keyboard's 1 slot usb ; Keys...

2nd Unit

Overall its a great board, and I think my issue was just a fluke. But I'm putting this out there for buyer awareness. One egg off for possible quality issues.

This keyboard looks great and feels great. It has Cherry MX Brown switches, which are the best feeling mechanical key to me. Not too loud, and still has a little bit of tactile feedback when pressed. The white LED back lighting looks awesome, It is...

I had to RGA my first G710+ after just 2 months due to a bad "U" key. It just stopped working. I received a brand new replacement from Logitech in about 2 weeks. Also, I have had zero issues with the LED lights

Excelent Keyboard

If you are a gamer and looking for a keyboard, then this is the one you need.

Good quality for a keyboard ; Simple, practical layout, the standard mechanical keyboard ; Nice key lighting ; Excelent for gaming

Space bar feels little awkward, but that a thing of getting used to, no biggy

Excellent Keyboard (First impression)

It would of been nice if it came with extra WASD and Arrow keys. I don't really like the grey colour scheme for that. I highly recommend this board thus far, and will follow up with a review in the up coming month under the same nickname.

Please Read: I've been looking around the newegg reviews in conjunction with professional reviews and I found a strong difference in opinions. A lot of the reviews posted on websites such as Anandtech and gadget review are giving it great reviews....

Palm rest is a bit flimsy. If you were to lift up the keyboard, it just dangles around. Older keyboards I have owner have never done this. They usually locker further into place so that this still keep some rigidity ; Sound dampening can be improved....

In love with this keyboard

I have loved logitech keyboards for years. I changed up from a g510 to the steelseries merc stealth for the side section. As soon as I heard logitech made a mechanical G series keyboard I went out and bought one. Sold the membrane one and will never go...

Wow, this keyboard is amazing. Replaced a steelseries membrane with this one. I will never go back to non-mechanical. The brown switches are great for the feel of blues but without the super clicky sound. The ability to change the LED backlight...

I am not a huge fan of the bright orange around the macro keys. Only backlight color is white. Would be awesome with the usual blue/green/red was possible

Just two complaints

My girlfriend and I both had Logitech's cordless Wave set, and we both began having issues with keypresses "sticking" - hers worse than mine. (Mine was about 5 or 6 years old, her's about 3.) Decided to replace them with mechanical keyboards, so I got...

Pretty much everything that doesn't fall under "Cons." Great tactile response, key backlighting can be set from "makes you go snowblind" bright to "won't wake your girlfriend/boyfriend" dim, or off entirely. Volume wheel is great, especially with the...

Had to give up my Calculator key ; Why does no one manufacture a decent gaming/enthusiast keyboard in ergonomic form

1st Logitech Letdown.

I LOVE LOGITECH. Everything coming out of the back of my computer (apart from power, ethernet and video cables) has a logitech device on the end of it. I still would buy logitech over all other brands because they have never let me down before. This...

awesome, tactile, mechanical keyboard

oh goodness, where to start ; the lights under keys 0 (draw a line through) Page Up are dead ; the software from logitech.com (no cd included) installed for my logitech mouse instead of this kb, despite already having setpoint installed for my G500...
