Logitech G19s Gaming Keyboard

The Logitech G19s Gaming Keyboard offers plenty of customizable features to gamers, and a built-in display, but is it worth the high price?

Built-in display for data, communication, and video. Customizable backlight. 12 programmable macro buttons. Integrated media and volume control. Multiple switchable profiles

Pricey. Membrane switches feel mushy and stiff. Plastic construction feels flimsy. Requires AC power

Makers PC gaming peripherals are in the unenviable position of having to meet gamer's simultaneous demands for top-of-the-line products and innovative products that offer new and better ways to interact with technology. Finding the balancing point...

Logitech G19s

The Logitech G19s compares well with other advanced gaming keyboards. See where it ranks in our side-by-side comparison.

Adjustable backlighting color and excellent customization software help this keyboard stand out

This keyboard has membrane switches and is limited to six-key rollover

The Logitech G19s is a powerful gaming keyboard, but it mainly appeals to PC gamers who don't prefer mechanical switches.

If only if worked

I know this was a Refurbished item and understand not to expect a brand new one in the box. But this looked like a broken/abused return that was plugged in, saw power, and was slapped into the refurbish pile without proper inspection. RMA in progress...

LED lighting is brighter and the color is sharper than my G510 ; If I get a working one it will be a very nice upgrade

I just received the keyboard today and it has quite a few issues. First the palm rest for the keyboard is broken and missing pieces. This must of happened before shipping as the broken/missing pieces are not in the shipping box. Second the keyboard was...

Awesome!

I love the keyboard. You cant ask for much more as a gamer or professional. Some people have certain preferances though that may turn them off to that.

Lighting: Awesome backlighting. It gives a nice soft uninvasive glow and you can make it any Color you want ; Noise: Due to the membrane layout, this keyboard is very quite. Great for people who have thier system set up close to loved ones, not so...

Price Tag: This keyboard is a $199.00. This is high for your average Keyboard, especiall if you want Mechanical Keys this might be a bit hard to choke down. I cant knock an egg of for the high cost though because it does have a Full Color screen...

Good for parts/Learning to use the trash bin.

I had a G19 but had to RMA it because it was having an issue where the LCD would cause the keyboard to malfunction. Sometimes the screen would cause a crash like symptom while in use and you cant use the profiles or the macros and the LCD would start...

Back-lighting of nearly any color you want ; Multiple memory profiles ; On board memory to store profiles ; Many different functions of the LCD display

LCD Stops working and causes the rest of the keyboard, except the function to type, to stop working ; They didn't fix the problem from the G19 with the G19s. Its inherited

This keyboard does require a power outlet, as it uses a power supply to power the USB ports and LCD screen. So far I have loved it - and it's sturdy design has held up under daily gaming.

Very nice keyboard; comfortable design; backlighting with color customization; has 2 USB slots to plug in additional devices; sturdy design; has macro programming

Not really a "con", but I've found that sometimes letters don't register as you're typing (I'm not sure if I just got a defective keyboard or if it's a driver issue so took 1 egg)

G19s

When I got the keyboard it was on sale... I wish I spent the money on something else. It is far from worth $200 considering the LCD has zero support.

Very nice, sturdy keyboard that is very versatile

Since day one the CAPS LOCK indication light has been stuck on. The LCD display..... is not supported at all. The applet package that comes with the keyboard for the LCD is worthless junk

Nice keyboard if it would last

Key layout is very nice and buttons feel solid. Screen is a nice gadget and lot of plugins are available such as TS and others. Extra key programming is a plus for game options or for certain desktop functions

This was a replacement for my previous G510 that had a couple of button issues. This keyboard worked solid for a while but now right side keys are sticking (no coke spills in my office) and I have to wait 2 seconds after pushing the left caps button so...

Designer Crazy

Excellent concept - the ability to use the macro keys to store passwords, etc ; Multi-functional display ; Intuitive macro software

Extremely poor font/design used for shift characters - !, @, #, etc. They are hard to make out on the keyboard ; Macros are not downloaded onto the keyboard and are therefore only available once the OS has loaded. I would have liked to store my...

Great when it works!

It's a great keyboard when it's working, but it's also flaky at times. I've had this one for a few years. It's not a cheap keyboard and so I expected better!!! Even now the Volume control works just fine, same with the keyboard and whatnot, but the...

I love the keyboard layout. It feels good to type on. The Media controls are nice to have and I use the large Volume control all the time! It's also cool that you can change the Keyboard keys to pretty much whatever color you want. At least most of...

Screen issues! Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't!!! Right now it's not working. Really, what's laughable is the software is saying No devices detected and to make sure it's firmly attached to a USB port, and yet my wireless mouse dongle is...
