Logitech Wireless Combo MK520 Wireless Mouse and Keyboard Review

Today I am checking out the Logitech Wireless Combo MK520. This new wireless mouse and keyboard combination launched not too long ago and offers compact design and nice features. If you are looking for a new wireless mouse and keyboard on a budget, the...

Cheap ; Accurate ; Works very well

Incurve keys feel a bit strange

The Logitech Wireless Combo MK520 is a great budget wireless desktop from Logitech that will be great for your average PC user looking to work without wires.

Logitech Wireless Combo MK520 review

Sitting in the middle of Logitech's keyboard and mouse range, the MK520 makes a good first impression. The keyboard's keys are quiet and offer just the right amount of resistance, making them extremely comfortable to use. They are also sunk into the...

The MK520 is an excellent value keyboard and mouse set, which is incredibly comfortable to use.

Lag issues

Nothing outstanding

One small issue and one larger one ; As a personal preference, the keys at the bottom of the keyboard (the Ctrl keys, chiefly) are too short, and when depressed go down below the level of the keyboard itself. It makes it a little awkward to make proper...

Too Bad Logitech

Its by Logitech. Works as advertised

As a long time Logitech fan I've been disappointed with this new version of the 520 series. I have had an S520 combo for several years and it has been excellent. This new version MK520 with the low profile keys and short palm rest just does NOT fit my...

Cheap in quality, not price

For as much as I can complain, I am still using them and after swapping out one of the Unifying receivers for an older one I had, they are working. It's just that compared to most Logitech stuff, especially at the price, it seems cheap.

Unifying wireless, accurate tracking with mouse

Definitely not one of Logitech's finer products. I purchased two, and when the sets were 12 feet away they interfered with each other. Suddenly one mouse would stop working, or a keyboard would be very unresponsive. I have in the past successfully...

Nice Keyboard/Mouse

This keyboard has a PC Power button. If you plug the dongle into a unswitched USB plug, you can control the system power from the keyboard. The default is to place the system in sleep mode, but that is configurable. I looked at the Logitech keyboard...

Uses Logitech cordless USB dongle which works well and takes no space. Keyboard has good feel and all the right keys and function keys, including the every useful speaker volume/must buttons ; From past experience, I expect good battery life and good...

Great!

If I had not stumbled upon the Logitech software, I would probably have returned this as defective. Thinking about it for a minute, I can see why Logitech made it necessary to have the software installed; security. Not a pro or a con for me, but the...

Mouse is non-slip. Keyboard has a decent recoil in the keys. I like the size, shape, and angle of the keys. Has media keys. Looks good. Has decent range. You can actually turn off the mouse and keyboard when not in use (might not need to if it lives up...

Missing the num lock and caps lock indicators. Most wireless keyboards do not have indicator lights as that costs battery life if left on. I had to use the Logitech software to pair the mouse and keyboard to the PC/receiver

GREAT!

For those getting the "keyboard not found" error when restarting... place the USB unifier on a USB extension cord. It will work fine then. If you don't have one, try swapping USB ports.

Keyboard looks great and is very responsive to the touch. Well constructed and sturdy ; As for the price, at first it was high, but I went and bought it anyway and then later discovered the "iron egg" guarantee. So... I decided to re-write my rating...

It didn't come with the USB extension cord as advertised. I had to use an old (1.0) one I had laying around. I would have put 5 stars had all the parts (I paid for) been in the package ; Can someone send me a cord
