This keyboard has a lot going for it -- a simple setup, a decent feel, and an attractive price. Unless you require a keyboard that makes sound on its own, has a full set of keys, or boasts a horde of knobs and faders, the Keystation 49e is a good value

Ok I have used this unit for both my macbook with garage band and on my Windows XP machine. Both work without issue. It's plug and play with both operating systems. On my PC, I use Fruity Loops and have used this controller flawlessly. No connection...

"this product is excellent.... ive done computer producing for a while and have used 500 dollar pianos and thousand dollar ones and this one for 104 is just as good.. yea it doesnt have weighted keys but after one or two uses you get really used to it....
