Nice key feel, like real piano

We\'re using piano for online piano lessons. Children use it with no problem. Only issue is volume control: software louder than piano. That might just be something I need to figure out on Mac.

while the keys are semi weighted. the spaces between the black keys arent great enough. or maybe i just have fat fingers.

pitch and mod wheel ; price

my USB port cost about 34 cents to manufacture. it is very loose and cheap. after about 3 weeks every 5 minutes i have to unplug and replug it and reset the keyboard. very annoying ; im sure a midi to usb cable would correct this but i would still have...

Plug and Play with Garage Band

I'm taking piano lessons to learn music theory and needed something to practice on. The unit looks nice, each key is labeled, it plays well and connecting it to my Mac was a snap! The only disappointment is no headphone jack on the keyboard itself.

M-AUDIO Keystation 61es MIDI controller, 61-Note USB

Great for a beginners. It is still my primary device after more than a year of using it.

First keyboard that I purchased, and it proved to be an excellent choice, as is usual with all M-Audio products. 61 keys is plenty for beginners like I was. Works perfectly with Reason, Abelton, Acid, ProTools, and so on. Very light, weighted keys are...

M-AUDIO Keystation 61es MIDI controller, 61-Note USB

Did not require any drivers under WinXP! Just plug into USB and go. Always happy with M-AUDIO products. Thanks!

Velocity sensitive hemi-weight keys - feels almost like a real piano. Very high functionality, plus easy octave changing which reflects in Ableton software that is came with this keyboard. Nice device for studio work. For this money - it's a gift. High...

M-AUDIO Keystation 61es MIDI controller, 61-Note USB

I didn't bother with the USB functionality, I just hooked it up via MIDI. It will need a P/S though (I used the one for my 88es).

Easily recognized by my Audio progs - Sonar, Ableton (Not the included version), Native Instruments (Everything I own anyway, which is A LOT), Acid, etc. Fruity-Loops gave me some trouble though (I tested for laughs). Reasonably sturdy, very portable...

If you can find one roughly the same price, maybe a little more, spring for the 88es. This one is great for shows, but when I compose, I need those extra keys
