Razer Orbweaver

For the serious gamer, the Razor Orbweaver's intuitive control, adjustable design, and myriad programmable options make it the ultimate tool.

Several adjustable parts for optimal comfort. 20 programmable keys. Best thumb controls available.

Pricey. Keys could use more tactile differentiation. No color options for backlight.

Razer Orbweaver review: elite gaming, at a price

The Orbweaver is the latest gaming pad released by Razer. It is a specialised piece of gaming equipment that I suspect will only attract a select few of th

After spending some time playing around with the Orbweaver, I must admit it grows on you. The welcoming textures fitted my hand like a glove. Also, after spending a good few hours gaming with it, my hand didn’t even notice it was being used. If you are...

Razer Orbweaver Mechanical Elite Gaming Keypad Review

Razer Orbweaver is a cool gadget designed to offer gamers the experience of a mechanical keyboard in a small package coupled with a fully programmable design.

First of all i would like to thank Razer for sending me the Orbweaver for testing, its a cool product but built for a limited user base. As my testing revealed that most casual and even hardcore gamers would be better off spending the $129.99 Razer’s...

Razer Orbweaver

I have always dabbled in PC gaming in some form or another. Whether I was playing daily with a dedicated crew as a part of a Quake 2 clan or occasionally sinking a few hours into a Torchlight adventure here and there, the mouse and keyboard has always...

The Orbweaver may be one of the most comfortable and convenient accessories I have used on a PC. Although designed with FPS games in mind, using the Synapse software to create custom layouts for the device for other genres has shown me its flexibility....

Labs Brief: Razer Orbweaver

Razer delivers a game pad packed with mechanical goodness.

The Orbweaver can be considered the Nostromo 2.0, taking the tried and tested design and adding a mechanical keypad and ergonomic improvements. The wrist rest extends backwards, palmrest swivels and thumb assembly, which sports an eight way thumbstick...

Poorly made

If they fixed the issues I would buy another one if it was the only option. Not a lot of choices out there.

Lots of buttons

First button broke 3 months in on the D pad, you have to ship it to them, they don't have a replacement program. The D pad is lose so lose when you press right you contact the thumb button. The software is bad, about 6 months in it saved a version of...

No regrets

Adjustable, durable, comfortable, and improved my gaming. I keep the palm rest unlocked so it moves with my wrist, this prevents my wrist from ever getting tired. Button positions feel natural and its easy to adjust. The keys can take a pounding and...

Full spectrum lighting like the Naga mouse and Chrome keyboard should be expected with this price. Sometimes Razer Synapses will act up and if that happens, the Orbweaver loses ALL macros until Synapses starts back up (everything is saved though)

Even better than my Nostromo (and I couldn't believe it).

I had given up finding a true and reliable replacement for my Belkin Nostromo which fell apart after many, many years of hard use and abuse. The Orbweaver is even better than my Nostromo ever was.

Ergonomics (wrist position, key access, and overall layout are all phenomenally well designed) ; Software is excellent. Game-specific updates are available, but not necessary, and downloads are very quick ; Mechanical keys give a great feel and return...

Only issue I've ever had was that the glue on the palm pad will become gooey after 8 months of hard use. It may be slightly annoying, but even Ferraris need tune-ups. I removed their palm pad, cleaned off their adhesive, and re-applied the palm pad...
