Roccat Ryos TKL Pro Review and Ratings

Roccat's abbreviated version of the Ryos is a premium mechanical keyboard that comes with a choice of all major switch types and some sophisticated (if in places, overengineered) software.

Excellent typing feel, with choice of four switch types ; Illuminated keys ; Small footprint ; Fully remappable ; Handsome design

Noisy if you go for certain switch types ; Software confusing in places

The Roccat Ryos TKL Pro Gaming Keyboard is among the best keyboards we've tested in this category so far. Mechanical keyboards are simply pricey by nature, but for the price in that context, you get a lot. (The key switches are the most expensive part,...

ROCCAT Ryos TKL Pro Mechanical Gaming Keyboard [Review]

I've said this in the past, but if you're an avid PC Gamer and you've spent tons of money building the most powerful gaming rid in the world, all that power means nothing if you don't have a solid PC gaming keyboard and mouse to back it up. That's like...

ROCCAT RYOS TKL Pro Gaming Keyboard Review

Last year we took a look at the RYOS MK Glow and now we are taking a look at the RYOS TKL Pro. The RYOS TKL is in the tenkeyless form factor that we saw on the

Price

This is a cool keyboard, I like the fact that its smaller without the numpad. You still have Cherry MX switches, LED keys, a high quality case around the keyboard and the overall nice quality feel you get when you buy Roccat products.

Roccat Ryos TKL Pro Review

Do you ever find yourself wondering why the modern keyboard design has not changed much in recent years? Who uses a CAPSLOCK key any more? And do we really need a numpad? While certain functions might require them, a lot of gamers do not and that extra...

Cherry MX Brown switches provide industry standard gaming and typing ability.

Backlighting suffers from off-centre LED placement.

Wasted my time and money

If you play any games like GTA V, you do not have the number pad for flying or to control your cars flight. You have to individually select which keys you want lit up one at a time. Totally not worth the price as you can buy MANY keyboards of this...

Great Keyboard lighting, palm rest is nice, overall ergonomics are good.

No number pad, not easy to get keys to light up (all of them), Keys are loose and move too much, software took 3 installs before it worked.

LED failures

Not worth paying extra for LED illumination given that the LED's do not work for more than a month.

Mechanical key switches, programmable illuminated keys.

One month and LED failures already.

ROCCAT Ryos TKL Pro Mechanical Gaming Keyboard

Excellent response from the laser sensor, works on any surface without glitches; very good looking RGB lights on the bottom around the mouse.
