Ro$ewill Mechanical Keyboard

I intentionally purchase this keyboard without LED back-light for gaming to save some money, Cherry MX Black Switches seems to be my favorite to play, go research Cherry Switches to decide whats better for you. I am not afraid to scratch the paint off...

This is a very nice keyboard, at a very good price. I like the build quality and the look, it is simple and the USB port is a nice touch. It seem there are some problems with the USB port getting damage base on other reviews and feedbacks. Connect the...

Need to take care of

Lasts 4 months

Each keyboard I got from Rosewill seems to last 4 months on the dot before failing. I purchased the original keyboard on April and it failed in August, the second one I got in August and it failed in December. After the first keyboard failed I hid my...

Simple, Sturdy frame, Amazingly fast and accurate when typing

Micro USB connector in my first keyboard broke off and fell into the case making the keyboard useless. RMA process was easier than usual but my second keyboard began failing to register keys. RMA'd the second keyboard buy my warranty is about to expire...

Worked somewhat for a few hours

When the keyboard is working I like it

It worked intermittently and then stopped working altogether. I tried both usb and ps2. There is no information included with the product for how to troubleshoot possible driver-related issues

Feels good, shoddy workmanship

Rosewill's warranty/RMA services are obscure at best, absurd at worst. They state "If products are not purchased directly from Rosewill, please contact your vendors or retailers," meaning.. what, exactly? Contact requesting an RMA or repair? But most...

Affordable for a mechanical keyboard. When it works, it works well enough. Tactile feel is great, clicks are satisfying, no ghosting or any gamer-specific pet peeves. I like the straight-forward, no-nonsense aesthetics

Unit began flashing NUM/CAPS/SCROLL lights for 5-10s at a stretch within 3 months of purchasing it. Mini USB turned loose, requiring manual "jiggering" every now and then. After using the same $10 wired keyboard for something like 4 years, having a...

Good While it lasted

Although the keyboard was great while it lasted it didn't last long enough I wish I had gone with a more reliable brand my next mechanical definitely will be a more well known brand

Black Keys are awesome, very simple look

Alright this the bad part ; Was working fine until recently because now the keyboard intermittently works. The connector is inserted fully into the keyboard and USB yet the keyboard will only power on occasionally. Since I have only had this for a few...

Great Keyboard

It actually hurt my fingers to type on this thing for the first week or so. I dunno what it was. As soon as I got used to it, typing was easier on this thing than any other keyboard I've owned.

Keyboard really feels amazing. I notice most of the difference in games that use the WASD keys for movement; it really shines there ; The weight is awesome ; Construction is very sturdy, the cable is very strong. I haven't had any problems with any...

none so far

LOve these Rosewill RK9000 Keyboards

I had a RK9000 with MX blues and i loved that keyboard..I like the weight of the board and the feel of the keys. This keyboard feels the same in some ways but the keys have the feel of a rubber domed keyboard. But with much better response

This a nice keyboard.Feels real solid. The MX Black switches are nice. They feel like im typing on my old G15 when it was brand new.The keys dont have the click/clack sound like the MX Blues do

None imho

goes great with scII

going from a rubber dome to a mechanical keyboard was a great idea. they have a unique feel and good feedback. as far a price vs quality you can't go wrong with the rosewill line. Do your research though there are so many different colored switches...

no switch key, custom made keys are extremely expensive

very nice city

The force needed to press the blacks switch isnt alot, i was just comparing them to the reds* also, it is nice to have a separate PS/2 wire, since PS/2 is interrupt based and USB is emulated or something like that. Perfect for someone who doesnt feel...

Nice keyboard, as others said, the red back drop adds the perfect touch. it is very sturdy. I use it for a lot of gaming and it prevents me from pressing down unintentional keys, given the extra force needed to press down the black switch compared to...

The mini usb connector inside the keyboard is defective, mine isnt the first from what i read. It is poorly sodered down and can come loose causing the connection to fail and makes the keyboard useless. Rosewill will not complete the RMA them selves...

Excellent for its price.

I use the board for both typing and gaming, and so far I do not have many complaints and the ones I do have are relatively minor. I don't like the fact that some of the keys are partially bolted the the board. Also, the lock lights emit this VERY...

Satisfactory feel and consistency. The layout is standard and does not have any additional and unnecessary keys or anything like that. The weight is good and the rubber on the bottom of the board keep it in place

The labels on the keys and the surface began to wear away after only a couple of weeks. The backspace squeaks occasionally. Also, the elevation tabs do not provide sufficient friction for the keyboard to stay in place
