Died in five months

Was very happy until it broke. Same problem as others, the usb in the back stopped working. Still lights up but won't register any keystrokes. Very disappointed.

Good keyboard while it lasted

Died after regular usage. Mild typing on it. Only used for autocad commands and it just crapped out today. For one hundred dollars you'd expect a better product but sadly that's not the case. Avoid this product there are other better ones out there for...

Very Nice

I think we have gotten used to really bad "default" keyboards that are built to be cheap and disposable. If you type a lot, do yourself a favor and get a nice keyboard. Your arms, hands and fingers will thank you for it.

I love the feedback this keyboard gives me. I had forgotten how much easier it is to type on a keyboard that gives this feedback. This reminds me, in an non annoying way, of the IBM keyboards I used to back in the day in college. It has worked...

Rosewill RK-9000BR

Other reviews mention the mini-USB port being somewhat flimsy. I haven't noticed this but have been exercising extra caution when [un]plugging the cables just to be safe. It does seem solid enough to me, though.

Nice clean look: no weird fonts for the keys, no obnoxious colors or lights ; 9 months later, all keys are working perfectly. No sticking or squeaking, and no fading print on the keys yet ; Cool matte/fabricky plastic construction on the body (not the...

Cables are nice but a bit stiff. It would be nice if they were more flexible

Buyer beware

I think its funny how this $12 Logitech keyboard I bought from walmart is probably going to last 10+ years. Sadly a $110 keyboard will not even last 6 months. You can get a quality brand mechanical keyboard for $100. Please look elsewhere for a...

It feels nice when it works. Has a good weight to it

My first keyboard lasted about 2 months before the USB port started acting up. It completely died after 4 months of usage. I'm now on my second keyboard that is FRESH from an RMA today and it won't work at all. I think Rosewill's quality check as well...

Best keyboard ever used

My first mechanical heyboard and delighted about it. This keyboard is right to what a keyboard is supposed to do, simple, very well made, nice feeling to write with and sturdy. I would recommand it to everybody

About the miniUSB plug on the keyboard so often declaimed in other reviews. It is a fact that the wire connection coming straight out of the keyboard is not of the best design. I would rather suggest a mini elbow in the design to allow a parrallel...

Killer

You don't NEED them fancy lights 'n LED's on your keyboard. Just buy this one instead of literally paying $50 more JUST for LEDs. This is an amazing alternative to the Razer Black Widow Stealth, which I hear comes broken half the time anyways and...

Awesome feeling. Each press has this dry, springy feel. It feels so great to type on, and when trying another keyboard after having this thing for over a month, I never wanna go back. It's not super loud and clicky like the MX Blues, so when I game...

On some of the keys, if you key smash them (not violently; just a quick, solid key smash), they make a springy sound that rings for maybe a second afterwards. It's veeeery quiet and is hardly a con but maybe worth mentioning

Review (UPDATE)

I was unable to return my keyboard, or so I thought (it was outside the warranty period). I did contact Newegg (Rosewill), they very promptly issued an RMA. I now have a new keyboard that does not seem to suffer the same problem as my original. I...

I merely wish to edit a review I previously posted; which does not seem to be possible. SO this is an UPDATE to my review: "Avoid this Product

Keyboard USB connection - as others have reported

Amazing, with one caveat

I spent a lot of time agonizing over which type of cherry MX I would go for; blue? brown? red? I eventually settled on the browns; has enough tactile feedback that it's very pleasant to type, and very light so it also goes well with games. I was...

Those cherry MX browns are amazing. Even almost a year later I think of how nice it is to use it. It's hard to imagine how it could be worth it to pay so much more over a traditional keyboard, but it is totally worthy it. I feel like I can never go...

And the caveat. The board is designed very sturdily except for one part: the USB connector on the back of the board. When plugged in, the USB cable sticks out like a sore thumb. To make matters worse, the connector itself is not very sturdily mounted....

bet your luck on this KB

So basically you bet your luck on this keyboard. If it is good, then you are good. Otherwise, bad luck like me. I had to spend about $15 and two hours to ship it back for a RMA. No one feels good to actaully pay extra money/time on a defective product....

Light force, fast, quite. Very comfortable to type. I don't see the USB cable problem. It comes with a PS/2 cable which is good for my old KVM switch

1. the braided cord is stiff ; 2. the build quality varies. The one I ordered has something wrong with key 'T'. It bounces back much slower than other keys. Imagine what a hard time when I type 'TwiTTer'. I had to spend time to deal with RMA

Broken PS/2 Cord

Any way I can get newegg or the compoany to send me a new one anyone know?

Keys click well and feels very nice. Very solid mechanical keyboard for its price. Really like the tint of red when looking down at keys

The PS/2 Cord that came with it does not work at all. When plugged in, the numpad/caps/scroll leds would light up momentarily but remain off
