Excellent Price, but Prone to Failure

Purchased 2 of these before I started having issues. I would not purchase these again if I could go back - save up, and go for something higher quality, even if it means spending nearly double.

Newer versions seem to have some epoxy under the USB connector on the board, which does seem to help a lot with preventing breakage on the solder joints since the solder isn't directly handling any movement stress ; Also, the RMA process is a breeze...

Older unit ; USB port broke - repairs ended up requiring me to solder wires from the cord directly to the board ; Key/Switch Broken: Asterisk key on NUM pad has stopped functioning, entirely, and looks like it will require soldering repair ; Newer Unit...

Clicky, but not too clicky

I loved the tactile feedback of the Cherry Brown switches. It handled a lot of abuse from my gaming and button spamming. What ultimately did it in was accidentally spilling a beverage all over my keyboard and desk. RIP in piece.

Sturdy ; Strong switches

The connector in the back felt a little flimsy

Great Keyboard

Mine was working great, but I spilled a drink into it and had to disassemble it for cleaning. (this means breaking the warranty seal). It cleaned up very well but It developed connector problems. I found a drop-in replacement connector as Molex...

Excellent feel, steel plate makes it strong and heavy. I get a LOT less fatigue when typing all night long. Build quality is very good

I have had it open, the build quality is great but the traces near the USB connector are VERY delicate. (necessary with a single sided board and such a fine pitch connector). I suspect most of the "loose connector" complaints are actually issues with...

Wife types a lot...LOVES it

Wife uses it for business. She types a lot. She didn't understand the difference a mechanical keyboard can make. After 5 minutes of use, that changed! She loves it now. Catch it on a deal if you type a lot

good keyboard, until the USB plug breaks (AND IT WILL)

Look at the other reviews for more info on this problem. The USB/PS2 plug breaks within a year almost assuredly.

Good key response ; Looks good ; Enjoyable ; PS/2 with n-key rollover ; USB with 6-key rollover

Low-quality USB plug part

Baseline Mechanical Keyboard

I did not own this for long enough to remark on build quality, but it seemed very solid. I believe this is a good product. It was just not for me. I really wish manufacturers or retailers would list whether the keys are curved for comfort are not. I...

This keyboard was a decent price and was very basic ; It has a numpad ; It doesn't have bells and whistles

My intentions were to rearrange the keys into Dvorak layout. It was not specified anywhere that the keys were curved. When i rearranged the keys, they were all of varying height. I Returned the product as a result

Rosewill RK-9000BR

I am in the process of RMA'ing this keyboard and the Rosewill rep stated that the new version of the keyboard has the USB issue fixed with much stronger connection.

Keyboard feels solid and the Brown Cherry switches feel awesome under fingers while typing. The keyboard is heavy and feels very solid and doesn't slide around easily during heavy typing sessions. I love that the keyboard comes with PS/2 and USB cables...

Like many of the other reviews, USB proved to be the weak spot in this keyboard. Even though I don't move the keyboard around very much and have never taken it out of the home office the USB started to fail five months after I got the keyboard

Died in five months

Was very happy until it broke. Same problem as others, the usb in the back stopped working. Still lights up but won't register any keystrokes. Very disappointed.

Good keyboard while it lasted

Died after regular usage. Mild typing on it. Only used for autocad commands and it just crapped out today. For one hundred dollars you'd expect a better product but sadly that's not the case. Avoid this product there are other better ones out there for...

Very Nice

I think we have gotten used to really bad "default" keyboards that are built to be cheap and disposable. If you type a lot, do yourself a favor and get a nice keyboard. Your arms, hands and fingers will thank you for it.

I love the feedback this keyboard gives me. I had forgotten how much easier it is to type on a keyboard that gives this feedback. This reminds me, in an non annoying way, of the IBM keyboards I used to back in the day in college. It has worked...
