Sum ting wong...

It seems like no coincidence that all the broken keys are in the same area. To fix the problem, I had to scratch the finish off from the area adjacent to the pad, pull off the existing solder, and drop a larger blob of solder in its place to...

It is a well built mechanical keyboard that has a solid, heavy frame and a Costar main PCB and daughterboard. Can be bought for cheap

Something is cursed with the RK-9000RE keyboards. I have a brown and blue RK-9000 and both are fine. I was even lucky enough to not be hit with the USB mini-connector problem. However, I have had to resolder three keys -- the backslash, enter, and...

Fantastic Product

Keys respond to the slightest touch, even when only pushed down partially. Personally I'm very satisfied with these cherry red keyswitches for both gaming and typing. Personally I find no fault with the USB connector.

Cheapest cherry MX red keyboard I could find ; sounds loud but fantastic ; simplistic and attractive ; like typing on a cloud

the spacebar edge is a little sharp which could potentially cause some thumb irritation ; Also the keyboard is heavier than expected if you could consider that a con. Some might find the lack of extra features such as media buttons, macro buttons,...

Most expensive keyboard I've bought, broke the fastest.

I've owned this keyboard less than a year and like everyone else the connector is broken. If you are considering buying this keyboard budget an additional $10-20 for return shipping when it breaks within a year and you will be out of luck once the...

keyboard itself is good

unfortunately it is only as good as its weakest link which is the flimsy usb connector which seems destined to fail

Nice, cheap mechanical with lots of noise

Bought one despite all the talk about the micro usb, but when I plugged mine in, it went in very smoothly and didn't get dislocated. Since my keyboard moves maybe a few centimetres over the day, I doubt I'll have an issue with it. I personally don't...

Noisy, very responsive, heavy keyboard, braided cable is always excellent

None so far

Nice keyboard

This keyboard has a very nice solid heavy feel to it, it does not feel cheap at all. The keys have a lasting feel to them and the feel of typing is a very smooth journey. The noise is there but not too distracting. It has a nice braided cable that will...

None, however shoprunner two day shipping nearly took a week

Great keyboard with fatal flaw

Newegg / rosewill sent me a new replacement board. Rosewill needs to make this right, what they need to do is extend the warranty because of a clear fault in production of their own, very similar to how MS had to extend the warranty on the xbox 360 for...

I own 5 of these rosewill mechanical keyboards. They go on sale often for good prices. Everything about them pleases me except one thing ; They have good build quality, are heavy, have decent switches for a good price and they come with nice USB or PS2...

The USB port on the back of the keyboard breaks. That is the con that kills this keyboard, you are probably out of luck if this keyboard goes out of your warranty. That said of the 5 I own one of these cherry reds did break, newegg did not offer an RMA...

Bad USB Connector

I use this at work and one day the keyboard stop responding. Yep the old mini usb port as many others have complained about.

Mini USB Failure/Quality Control

Keys feel nice. Nice resistance for FPS games on the Cherry Red keys

First keyboard had a whole section of keys simply stop working after a month. It also had several OBNOXIOUSLY squeaky keys ; They sent a replacement which worked fine for almost a year, and then the mini USB port broke off inside the keyboard. THIS IS...

Flawed USB connection design

I would definitely avoid the Rosewill keyboards that have the usb input connection like this one. Perhaps look at the newer revisions with the integrated cable or look elsewhere. If it weren't for this major design flaw I'd definitely say this would've...

This was my first mechanical keyboard and I didn't want to venture into the higher priced keyboards nor did I care for the gimmicky gaming/flashing keyboards. This keyboard has a nice solid feel and some good weight. The keyboard itself was perfectly...

The keyboard worked fine for bout 6 months. I have a clean, empty desk on which this keyboard sat on with very little movement and minimal/no stress on the keyboard cable. Thus I was rather surprised that the usb connection started going bad just from...

Amazing

I havent experienced any issue with the mini usb connector becoming loose, and I took it back and froth to work over the summer. I imagine as long as you don't have it bent at a weird angle constantly all should be well.

Amazing Cherry MX Red keys ; Sturdy cable ; Not sure there's anything else. I just really like the keyboard ;)
