Defective case and electronics

Bad quality control on this unit. Other reviews I have seen have been positive, so maybe I just received a dud. "Beer Drinking Fridays" at the factory or something... I am trying a Das Keyboard instead & hopefully have better luck.

Felt good to type on and the USB hub worked

Plastic top not properly glued or connected to a corner of the aluminum base. The num & caps lock LEDs came on for a second when first plugged in and my mouse worked in the USB port, but the keyboard did not function and LEDs did not work thereafter

SIIG JK-US0412-S1

Just get it. I'm glad I did.

Solid feel and weight. Great quality ; Shorter keystroke length, Laptop-ish. Thats what I was looking for ; Keys strike well and true

Not as quiet as it could be, but its worth it for the feel ; No back-lighting. But you know that already

Great Keyboard

I purchased this keyboard looking for a replacement to a great keyboard I had that got wet ; Exact same touch, wonderful to use for long periods of time, 2 usb ports work great with Logitech track ball and one additional wireless mouse ; Sturdy,...

No cons with this keyboard

What I was looking for

Several years ago I was looking for a keyboard with laptop-style "scissor switch" keys that was full size and was a native Windows keyboard. It took tons of searching and I eventually found one from a somewhat sketchy site. In any event, it cost about...

Exactly what I was looking for, solid construction, laptop-style "scissor switch" keys, full size keyboard, native Windows configuration (as opposed to Mac). I've only had it for about half a day, but all I need to know I can tell quickly. See other...

It's wired, which obviously I knew going into it and doesn't really bother me... it's more that I'd prefer to at least have the option to buy this same keyboard in a wireless version. Not really a con for this keyboard, but a con for SIIG not offering...

Perfect Programming and Gaming Keyboard

The actual manufacturer of this keyboard is Precision Squared (pstc.com.tw) and they make fantastic scissor-switch keyboards. If you want a Mac-layout keyboard, check out the MacAlly IceKey -- it's basically the same keyboard, but with a plastic body.

Scissor-switch keys, which provide the most comfortable typing experience ; Perfect keyboard layout: standard-size backspace and backslash keys, and no silly L-shaped enter key ; Seems pretty durable to me: I've been using it for several months...

I'd rather have play/pause than sleep in the top right ; It probably doesn't have any special anti-ghosting technology, but it works fine for gaming with WASD and DCAS key layouts

Great Aluminum keyboard!

Love this keboard. Quiet like a quality laptop but very substantial , profesiona feel. I love typing on it every day. Solid aluminum case is great and heavy enough not to slide around. The simpe, strightforward style is very elegant. Has volume,...

Wired, but not a problrm for me...ver responsive

Great keyboard

I got this for my first build, i have 3 macs and the mac book pros are pretty sharp, and the aluminum usb keyboard for the imacs had short keys and are really easy to type with. So this is a great keyboard especially with the brushed metal looks great.

Slim ; Short keys ; Quiet ; Easy to type quickly ; Edges don't touch your wrists

None

Great Keyboard

It's a great keyboard. If you want a quality keyboard and don't need/want a back light or extra dozen keys for gaming, I recommend this keyboard.

Professional feel and look ; Crisp, responsive keys ; Sleep button ; Brushed Aluminum ; USB ports

The LED indicator lights bleed a little but you can still tell which ones are on

Perfect for picky people

If the style you see in the pictures suits your fancy and you want a slim scissor actuated keyboard with traditional minimalist layout, buy buy buy! It would be nice if there was a version that did not have any labels on the keys for the ultra...

Slim design, scissor keys, durable high quality build. Extra USB ports and not to mention, zero ghosting issues for WASD centric fps players. All important multi key presses for these games are produced just fine unlike the notorious shift+w+space on...

Slightly on the pricey side but not so much a con in this case considering it is exactly what I want in a keyboard. The keys are slightly more audible than my previous slim scissor keyboard, though also not too much of a con considering it made...
