Consumer review (newegg.com)

Would have been very good if certain key problems did not exist

This is the 3'rd HTPC keyboard I own and I research and buy carefully. This beyboard is really well thought out. This is why I boudnht it. But it has that strange problem, volume up/down keys press multiple times, so does the back-navigation key. I...

Large enough keys, trackball, 3'rd mouse button

Certain multimedia keys press multiple times thus makes this keyboard unusable for HTPC

It's okay..

I bought this to use with a computer that is connected to my TV in the living room. I have the sensor on a front-side USB and am within 10ft of the computer 90% of the time. IT responds well to movement, but the track ball feels really cheap. The...

Small and comfortable, but has big keyboard feel

Track ball is terrible. Feels cheap- and I experience same annoying double-click issues plaguing everyone else on here

not bad

I don't know if I would buy it again because of the mouse issue. I can put up with having to click a few times but it annoys the living daylights out of my techno-illiterate girlfriend who doesn't understand why she has to double click internet links.

Extremely convenient for HTPC usage. Good size, nice and portable but still has a big enough keyboard to not be uncomfortably awkward

Usually misses every other click. I have the receiver in direct line of sight and less than 6 feet away so it's most likely a hardware issue with the mouse switch, especially considering that typing is near 100

it's ok

Bought as temporary replacement for logitech dinovo while it is out for warranty service. Plenty of range for my application. Keyboard feel is pretty good, but trackball not so wonderful. Overall this is pretty good value.

quick clean setup, keyboard feel

Works well

The keyboard worked perfectly up to about 12 feet, with the usb dongle in the back of the PC. It worked quite well from 15 feet, with only an occasional miss. I didn't try it beyond 15 feet. I suspect if the dongle was moved out into the open with a...

Lap-sized small ; Good range ; Worked immediately, right out of the box ; Media Center keys work well ... very handy ; Left mouse button near trackball is great ... allows one handed drag-drop, window resizing, etc ; Well thought out ergonomics. Palm...

Needs a light on the num lock key. Its frustrating to type away, only to find 1/3 of the characters typed were numbers, not letters. Also, the num lock is on by default, so this happens unless you explicitly turn it off

Works Great

RF connection works well for me form about 20 to 30 ft. (no need to go any farther) I would buy again.

Great size for HTPCs. Small enough to be unobtrusive and large enough to work with. No problems with windows vista. Batteries last quite a while

Mouse click misses maybe 1 out of 20 times, but not a big deal

Not Sure

Plan on sending back and getting a new one though. N key would give N7 and B key would type B4, Down arrow made my linux OS pop up a shutdown window. Hopefully its just 1 bad keyboard and not typical.

Small, light, wireless RF instead of infrared like my old one. Trackball was responsive and easy to use. Like the "left click" button on the right side for one handed mouse operation

Keys are bit small to type on for someone with large hands. Arrow keys shifted over one key as compared to my old keyboard, so I'm finding my fingers on the wrong keys, hopefully I can get used to the new placement

Consumer review (newegg.com)

Good, but not Great

Uses 2x AA batteries that last quite a while, compared to an old X-Gene I have that uses 4x AA and goes through them quickly

The trackball is rather small and has a tendency to stick if your thumb is at the 'wrong' angle - biggest complaint. Getting used to the smaller key layout takes time. The keys are much smaller and closer together than a standard keyboard or even the...
