Nice!

Great keyboard, compact size! First experience with red switches, which are a little bit too sensitive for me, so YMMV. The etched letters may deteriorate over time. I bought this keyboard while on sale (about $50) and would be a no-brainer at that...

Aluminum build ; Braided cable ; Attractive design

Reds may be a bit too sensitive for my tastes (not a fault of Corsair) ; A couple letters are disappearing from the keycaps (after about 6 months) ; No backlighting

Solid and comfortable

I'm perplexed by the diamond knurl pattern on the spacebar, it feels out of place given the rest of the keyboard.

This is a very well designed and built keyboard, no nonsense, no frills ; The FN key is located out of the way in a seldom used area, the Windows key lock is a well thought feature but should have been done differently

Could have been made smaller by shaving off the empty area where the Corsair logo and media keys sit, I don't see why the volume controls weren't assigned to the FN F5-F8 block ; A set of heavier switches should have been used for the spacebar,...

Great little minimalist gaming keyboard.

If you don't like Cherry MX-Red switches, this isn't going to change your mind. I'd honestly prefer the MX-Brown switches if they were an option, but the the Red ones it has work like Red switches are supposed to. The option would be nice, but I bought...

This little keyboard is a great, sleek, minimalist design. It really has no frills, just what you need. It's a full sized keyboard, with with the number pad chopped off to make it smaller overall without sacrificing the size of the keys. There are no...

Fast and Sensitive

Not really a con but just something to think about. There is no feed back on these keys, the action happens before the key hits the bottom. I like it but it did take some time to get used to. I would recommend the Brown switches for those who are...

This keyboard is very sensitive and when you hit a key it registers fast. So it take sometime to get use to but speeds in RTS games and shootings are much faster than the average keyboard. The Cherry Red Stitches are nice smooth

Cable is a bit on the shorter side. I would have liked it to be a bit longer. But you can use any mini usb cable with this keyboard of you tower is far away

Great design/feel

This is my first gaming keyboard after playing with a few demo ones. Feel very well suited to gaming, as the type of keys provide almost no resistance when pressed. This might however be a problem if you use it mostly for typing

Not the best for typing

Best Mechanical Keyboard

Mind you this is a small keyboard if you have the desk space I would get a bigger model.

I have been using this keyboard for over a year now and it has not skipped a beat once. I travel around a lot for LAN parties and this keyboard is still in great condition cosmetically and mechanically. Easy to clean and best of all NO GLOSS

K65 Red Switch Keyboard

Cherry MX Red Switches ; Great for gaming/typing ; Cord is braided

No keycap puller ; No replacement keys ; No backlit keys ; Cord is kinda short (3 ft)

Corsair CH-9000040-NA

remember as along as your buying this form gaming and not writing books, then you should really enjoy using, the red switches are situational and the other features are really nice and it was on a good sale. i however would not buy this if i could only...

key are linear switch es so double tapping is easy, has some nice media keys, build fees really solid and caps feel nice. braided cable is a good thing. as a switch to help with usb keyboard compatibility issues

Excellent Keyboard

This is my second Corsair mechanical keyboard (the first being a K90), and I really enjoy them. They are much more comfortable while typing and gaming than the typical membrane keyboards, once you get used to them.

Feels great when typing and gaming. Very quick response and nice sound and feedback. Perfect compact size for my needs and very portable if necessary

None so far. The MSRP is a bit high, but with the recent sale and promotions, it was a great deal
