Visiontek candy board

I didn't have much expectations so to me it worked fine

Build in rechargeable battery. Got to be charged from USB while computer is on. So you end up plugging it in for charge and getting up to grab it every time you need to do something. I used it for TV so it wasn't that bad while it lasted ... As soon as...

Not for HTPC

I guess as an iPad or tablet keyboard it might work, but for an HTPC get the RF version at 30 more dollars, and avoid the fustration, or better yet get an MCE remote which what I ended up doing :-)

Small size, good battery life, included mouse pad

Horrible range. Step 2 foot away from computer, and the thing starts to lose connection. By 4 feet there is no connection at all

I bought this for my home theater pc thinking I had bluetooth with my old ps3. That would work perfectly then. Wrong! Right off the bat this thing won't connect, wait five minutes, come back to it later, still nothing. I put it right up to the...

Nice design, very cool device. Small size, a little larger than a keyboard on a smart phone

Range is nonexistent, works 10% of the time

Works well with my Android 2.3 device

Realize this keyboard is not designed exactly for Android and you can forgive it doesn't automatically support a seamless experience. For example, I can't seem to type some Android keys using the keyboard. Maybe there is a way to map keys using an...

Works well with my Android 2.3 device. Touch pad navigation actually works in most (not all) app screens. Good examples are navigating lists and selecting hard to touch things in the web browser. Of course "Swype" keyboard is available on newer...

Didn't work for me on Android 2.1 HTC Hero. The connection app that came with it tried register somewhere on the web but never succeeded. I put in a support request at VisionTek and never got a response then it was too late to return. I'm glad I...

Dont Buy

Rechargeable, Light weight, small

It will randomly lose connection over blue tooth. I have to turn it off and then back on to regain connection and sometimes it does not work. In that instance I have to get up and get within 2' of the receiver to regain signal. I am on my second one...

Great little keyboard

You can find this unit at about half the price elsewhere and wait 3 weeks for delivery. NewEgg is much more reliable and support is much better. Either way if you are thinking about getting htis unit you will not be disapointed

Bluetooth worked first time I plugged it in. Is the size of my other remotes. Backlite so can use it in the dark. Long lasting rechargable battery. I like the back and forward page functions ; My computer is hooked up to my TV so I use this when I am...

The mouse pad touch is not consistant sometimes it moves a bunch other times it barely moves

Suits perfect for my application

I couldf have done without the addition of the laser pointer. If Visiontek could have shaved some dollars and skipped it, that would have made it perfect.

The keyboard and mouse are together in one unit, and just like the description says, it's about the size of a candy bar. I'm using it in my bedroom for a media controller (netflix, Bluray, skype, short e-mail notes) so it works perfect. I certainly...

The only con I currently have would be the range. It seems to be limited over other bluetooth, but for a normal sized room and set up, it should be fine. I didn't have problems until I got across the room (where I couldn't read the print on the screen...

I wouldn't buy it

Again--You Get What You Pay For!!! I've had 3 different internal Lite-On CD and DVD Burners over the past 8 years--and they all crashed within 2 years of purchase. I figured that Einstein's definition of insanity might apply towards my next purchase....

Small, pretty good build quality. Also nice how it stores the dongle when not in use

Terrible range, you can't take it more than about 2ft from the computer with the included bluetooth dongle. I've ordered another dongle to try out and see if that helps the issue
