Toshiba Satellite P755-S5272 Review

The $949 Toshiba Satellite P755-S5272 offers great processing power along with a crisp screen and loud and rich audio. However, poor battery life and weak graphics performance keep this notebook from being one of our favorites. We're also not fans of...

Solid overall performance, Bright and vivid display, Loud and clear audio, Runs cool

Finish a bit tacky, Weak graphics performance, Short battery life, Small spacebar

Great 3D image quality, Decent performance, Discrete graphics, 3D Blu-ray player

Short battery life, 3D requires clunky glasses, Mediocre selection of ports, Some crosstalk artifacts

The Toshiba Satellite P755-3DV20 is a capable performer, but that’s not what this notebook is really about. Armed with a 120Hz display and Nvidia’s 3D Vision technology, it delivers great 3D image quality right out of the box, and it’s reasonably...

Review: Toshiba Satellite P755-S5270 laptop

Right now there are three general types of laptops. You've got your ridiculously thin, not terribly powerful ones. There's the desktop replacement laptop, where the power brick alone weighs more than the first category, but the system packs enough...

Premium multimedia 3D laptop

is one of Toshiba's top of the range laptops. It aims to offer the full entertainment and multimedia package with Nvidia's active shutter 3D technology built in.

Great Laptop

This line of laptops has a striated texture all over the chassis. I personally really like this, both the style and feel of it. The touchpad is not textured, so this actually helps me get oriented in the dark. Some reviews elsewhere have grumbled about...

Excellent build quality, great look, very strong speakers, and a sensible keyboard layout. The initial software load was not too bad; I had everything cleaned up and ready to go in less than an hour. Video performance is good and the system generally...

Battery life is not particularly impressive but is in line with this class of laptop. The touchpad is pushed quite a bit to the left, so the base of your thumb might hit the pad while you're typing

Bought the P755-S5198 model; almost the same specs and it's a beast

I bought the P755-S5198 model instead of this one. It's almost identical to this model but My wife didn't really need the Blu Ray drive, but she did want the keyboard backlit LED option instead. That's really the only different in the models. I have...

Amazing i7 2670qm CPU, huge hard drive, dedicated graphics, and amazing screen were the key selling points for me. Can also turn off the moue pad with a touch of a button; that's really nice. The speakers are really crisp too

Hard to find these models at local stores. Sold out at Best Buy
