Thin, sexy design; strong performance; includes media remote control and HDMI output.

Not as revolutionary as the previous 13-inch version; fewer configuration options than Dell's Inspiron line.

Dell XPS M1530

By Dan Ackerman (cnet.co.uk)

While most people don't think 'sexy' when they think of desktop replacements, Dell's turn towards a 'design-first' philosophy pays off with its XPS M1530. It's easily the best-looking 15-inch laptop in recent memory with a thin profile and light weight --...

"Does everything I need."

I love the wide screen and the high resolution. I had an older laptop before and this is so much nicer. Also it has a really nice sound card. I can listen to music or play games on this device and I'm not wishing I was on my desktop.

I wish the screen on the laptop was extendable. I have to use it up on a stand and then use a wireless keyboard or my neck gets sore. This is common to most laptops but a feature that could be improved upon.
