Asus N53SV-A1

The rest of the features, including HDMI, Gigabit Ethernet, a multimedia card slot, and a 2-megapixel Webcam, are what you would expect from a laptop of this caliber. A tray-ejecting DVD burner is situated on the right side and isn't as impressive as...

Lightning fast quad-core Core i7 processor. Nvidia GeForce 540M chip makes it a viable gaming laptop. USB 3.0. Appealing design. Cavernous, fast spinning hard drive

Poorly designed keyboard. No Blu-ray or higher resolution screen option. No option for bigger battery

The Asus N53SV-A1 desktop replacement laptop has more power than most people know what to do with, armed with a quad-core Core i7 processor and Nvidia's latest graphics gem.

Review Asus B53J Notebook

Longevity and reliability – were important aspects for Asus when designing the B53J. This is applies to the case, as well as the adopted hardware and the length of the warranty, which lasts for three years.

Very good application performance, Switchable graphics solution, With good HD 5470 graphics performance, Comprehensive communications features, Security features, Dockingport, The focus on longevity and reliability

Rather dark display with low contrast, Arrangement of interfaces, Heat generation on the case under load, A brighter display with better contrast

business practical

Intended usage for my new laptop: - VMWare - Websphere development in Linux (RHEL) via VM guest - General technical writing and illustration - IBM RAD tools - Eclipse - General systems design

I needed a sturdy business laptop and wanted to stay with Asus given my positive experience with their N61 (i7) model ; I was looking for a better keyboard, cooler runtime, and something a little more rugged and ready for airline beatings (spills,...

This is a nit since a 4-core processor is a little overboard for mobile computing... but this laptop has an i7 620m CPU - it's a 2 core processor. With hyper-threading you'll see 4 'cores' in the Performance Monitor. And, to the CPU's credit, it's...

Fast machine. Loved the ability for 3 screens, nice touch-pad, battery life wasn't to bad

would freeze when moving from plugged in to battery or just when switching video cards ; Started freezing at login ; The worst customer service I have ever experienced ; keypad feels a little flimsy along with the battery

To the guy that wrote a review and doesn't own this model.. I've had my Asus laptop for one year now and it works great.. 95% of all computer problems are related to software/OS/Anti-Virus/Virus..
