Samsung SF310

Some buyers will be intrigued by features like Bluetooth 3.0, Sleep-and-Charge, and quick restarts, but more discerning buyers may shun the Samsung SF310 for its underutilized components and small hard drive.

Intel Core i5-480M processor. Nvidia GeForce 310M graphics with automatic switching. Lots of extra features, like Bluetooth 3.0, Sleep-and-Charge, and quick restarts. Good battery life.

Covered ports are less accessible. Wimpy speakers. Middling performance. Internal battery can't be accessed or replaced by buyer. Small hard drive.

Samsung SF310 video review – a stylish 13.3 incher in a bulky body

Managed to get my hands on the Samsung SF310 13.3 inch laptop these days, a device Samsung advertises as “thin and light” and you're going to find in the next rows my impressions on it and a p...

Still, if I were on the market for a 13.3 incher, I would for sure go for an Acer 3820TG (which is similarly priced) or try squeeze some extra bucks for the Asus U36J (or even one of those ultra-slim 13.3 Macbook Airs). But that's just what I would do…...

Samsung SF310/SF410 Laptop Review

Samsung introduced new SF series notebooks– Samsung SF310/SF410/SF510, these series laptops are beyond the current traditional design. Samsung SF310/SF410/SF510 added the maverick “golden arc” design and shared the curvy clamshell pattern. Samsung...

Samsung SF Series comes with li-ion batteries, which can effectively extend notebook battery life. Further more, Samsung SF Series also supports quick charge function, and the battery can be charged fully in 2-3 hours.

Samsung SF310

A uniquely curvy design and Nvidia's switchable Optimus graphics are but some of the highlights of this affordable 13.3in laptop.

Eye-catching curvaceous internal design, Excellent battery life

Spongy keyboard, Slightly uneven backlight, It's a dust and fingerprint magnet

Samsung SF310 review

Samsung's new thin and light is curvier than most, but can it marry performance and stamina with those seductive looks?

Subtle yet pleasing design ; Powerful processor performance ; Discrete, efficient graphics core ; Decent storage

Horrible touchpad ; Graphics aren't powerful enough ; Uninspiring battery life ; High price tag

Samsung SF310-S02UK

The first thing you notice about the Samsung SF310 isn't the 13.3-inch screen, the Core i5 processor, the nice complement of ports and features (including NVidia Optimus graphics and a DVD-RW drive), the excellent build quality or the battery life;...

A good keyboard, fast resume, great battery life, powerful processor with far-from-shabby graphics performance, those curves do make it stand out

Touchpad is a little small and is twitchy, the plethora of function keys are redundant and sometimes confusing, the screen and sound didn't blow us away

The Samsung SF310 is the kind of compromise we’re happy to make. You could certainly improve on it (and not just with a touchpad that didn't jump around like a nervous cat). Nvidia's Optimus graphics do an excellent job of combining power and power...

Samsung SF310 review

Apart from the underpowered graphics card and average screen, the SF310 a great all-rounder thanks to a long-lasting battery, decent performance and an excellent design.

Samsung SF310 review

Smaller than the popular 15in notebook and larger than a netbook, the 13in-screen portable remains a favourite size for laptops. And it's certainly a crowded market at this size.

Samsung has puts its eggs into the performance basket, gifting the Samsung SF310 with a nippy dual-core processor. But this is at the expense of essential high-quality parts such as a decent trackpad. If outright speed tops your wishlist, or you fancy...

Samsung SF310 review

The Samsung SF310 is a stylish laptop capable of catering to the demands of business and multimedia users, but it struggles to live up to the manufacturer's billing of being an ultraportable.

Excellent keyboard; impressive specifications; stylish design

Poor portability; sealed battery; terrible trackpad; pricey

The SF310 comes with impressive specifications and an excellent keyboard, but is ultimately let down by a fiddly trackpad. With a weight over 2kg and a battery that can't be swapped out, it is unlikely to endear itself to the business traveller.
