AMAZING performance at a low price!

I somewhat regret buying such a large laptop because its harder to find a cheap bag to put it in.

Can't beat $649 for a laptop with these kinds of specs. Fast CPU, dedicated graphics, huge hard drive, and a massive screen

Really short battery life, only about 2 1/2 hours with only light web browsing. I can't imagine how quickly the battery would get sucked dry if I was playing games. Some people might be disappointed by the 5400 rpm hard drive, but I don't mind it

SWEET Laptop

I put a Crucial 8GB (2x 4GB) PC-10660 matched set in here, removing the stock Kingston RAM. There was nothing wrong with the machine's performance with 4GB, I just bought 8GB so I wouldn't have to worry about that later.

Core i5 CPU has enough power to work for a few years ; Dual graphics - Intel HD3000 for day-to-day, and Radeon for games ; Surprisingly slim for the features packed in ; Lap surface stays cool even when doing extended gaming ; Wireless-N to a E3000...

You have to burn 4 DVD-R's shortly after receipt to assure OS reinstall later ; Video switching method is not clear ; Carry weight/balance of this laptop is odd, and I'm not comfortable handing it across a table holding on to one corner. Probably...

No buyers remorse

I normally dont write reviews but I do like reading them to help make a decision. Anyone who posts a review based on anything but hands on experience annoys me. Especially if they can't even back up what they are saying. All it does is scew the numbers...

Good balance of bang for buck. i5, 17" screen, and cool on the lap

None I've found so far

Not the wrong Specs This is the link to the Acer website which gives the specs to this specific model. It is exactly what is noted on newegg. Don't know what the other guy was thinking. Don't post incorrect...

Previous review was completely wrong, giving 5 stars to balance it out

Wrong Specs?

Looks like it has the same specs as the 6662 Acer model but priced cheaper

Looking at Acers website, it says that the 6669 model is actually an i3 and has an intel graphics card and not a Radeon graphics card
