It is extremely fast to start up and close down. It seems to run faster higher content games very well. The screen is magnificent, crystal clear and great in widescreen.

The only bad point is the keyboard. Unfortunately the keys are a little spongy and some you have to press quite firmly to get them to register. Very annoying when you are trying to type fast

Not a bad point but something to consider when buying this particular unit, i.e. weight and size. However, it doesn't bother me at all, I bought the laptop because of its size.

It WORKS flawlessly

you can play almost any game on it with a very good performance, huge screen for a laptop with crystal clear quality, amazing dolby speakers built in and huge 500gb hard drive. very quick and reliable laptop for any requirements.

sometimes runs a bit hot, mouse touch pad is a bit dodgey at times

Good speed and graphics. 17.3" Widescreen helps with movies and spreadsheets. Dolby Home Theatre sound gives a better effect through the built-in speakers than other laptops I've used. Using this as a desktop replacement - and very pleased with it.

Minor gripes which have not put me off are: Lid colour/material (shiny blue) picks up every finger print. Half-size arrow keys which double (with Fn key) as volume control and screen brightness - feel as if they may be more prone to damage than the...
