An absolute bargain!

I've had the 5741G for almost two months and truly its way ahead of its equivalent rivals.CPU performance is awesome,graphic is good but keyboard is wobbly,instead of regular 4 usb ports its has 3.

Powerful Laptop, poorly build

Other than my own problems, the Laptop is great. I would definetly recommend buying it if you see it here or some other market.

It is a keeper

As fast as the Dell Inspiron I bought a year ago, cost $400 less. The Dell has a core 2 duo, this one has a core 3. Would recommend this Acer to anyone.

Acer Aspire

5400 RPM Drive .. They all should start using 7200's..at the least.

Fairly cheap for a Core i3 w/ a 5470 ; Runs COD WAW and MW at Medium ; Crysis on Low ; Small . Light Weight ; A great 1st laptop for only 689.99

Product Specifications

The Acer Aspire 5741G is a great high-end laptop. It's powered by a burly Intel Core i5, which should provide enough power for just about any task, including gaming. With a 15.6 inch, 1366 x 768 resolution screen, this laptop is pretty close to a desktop replacement and will do heavy computing tasks quite well. It comes with 4 GB RAM and a 500 GB hard Drive, which should be plenty of memory and storage. As for ports, it has 3 USB ports, HDMI and VGA video interfaces, and a memory card reader. A built-in microphone and webcam allow for video conferencing and online chatting. The trackpad supports multitouch functions. The Acer Aspire 5714G is an all-around great laptop, which has solid computing power and should be able to run any normal task with ease, and even do a little gaming. Acer is a great brand and the laptop is overall a great buy.
