i love this computer, it works extremely well for my relatively basic needs. no problems with having multiple programs open, fast to start up, very good battery, nice screen that is not too reflective and a nice generous size.. i suppose the size of the screen makes it a little less portable than smaller notebooks but the weight of the computer is also surprisingly light so i take it into college a lot. sound is good quality but not the best volume so i sometimes plug in speakers to watch a film or whatever.
i LOVE the finish on the main part of the laptop, kind of matte and with little indentations, (i don't know quite how to describe it) it doesn't show up fingerprints so never looks grubby.
my only minor problem with the laptop is the keyboard, which although it works very satisfactorily, i suppose i am a little bit careless with it and crumbs or little particles can get stuck under a key and then make it awkward to use that key. i must invest in a keyboard cover, and then this laptop would be perfect!
specs are 3gb RAM, 320gb HDD and intel core i3-370M processor (also Intel HD graphics, DVD super multi DL drive, 15.6" HD LED LCD sreen, Acer Nplify 802.11b/g/n, whatever that means!). i wasn't really interested in having a great graphics card, as i don't use it for games, but as far as i can tell graphics are good. i've never had any problems connecting to any wireless networks and all the automatic stuff for sorting out connections seems excellent,
this laptop is EXCELLENT value for money, i paid £380 for it and am delighted with it. i'm not in any way knowledgeable about computers, but i know that this computer is exactly what i was looking for, and i absolutely recommend this laptop as an excellent everyday laptop that will cope with whatever you need, internet, microsoft office, photo editing, watching videos etc. really super laptop!!
