Acer Aspire 6930G-6723

By Cisco Cheng (pcmag.com)

The transition from a 16:10 to 16:9 aspect ratio in widescreen notebook displays is well under way, in part because these panels are becoming cheaper to make and their aspect ratio is more consistent with that of consumer HDTVs. When LCD manufacturers ...

A bit bulky.

Equipped with a Blu-ray drive and generous performance parts for under $1,000, the 6930G has regained the Editors' Choice accolade for best value media center laptop that its predecessor lost.

Great Product

By Zingyguy (newegg.com)

I got this laptop a week ago for 750 and after having this for one week I noticed it dropped down to 699. Should have waited a bit longer. With the price compared to other desktops, you cannot go wrong with this one.

All around notebook with Gaming capabilities

By Ej (newegg.com)

This Acer is great! Design is sleek and the power under the hood compliments it well. For a notebook to run Vista smoothly is not an easy task, but it performs. I installed COD 5 and its runs smooth on medium High settings. I average about 40fps, which is...

Not so much a con but the unit does produce some heat, but all notebooks do. I have a ZALMAN NC2000 cooler and it makes a great difference in temperature. Make sure to use a cooler to prolong the life of the notebook. The hottest part is the GPU. I averag...
