ok the cons the battery life is short but this is fixable with inverter or 9 cell lithium ion battery you can purchase throuh acer support and also a bad thing you have to use the erocovery software to make backup dvds for your computer if you have to...

It really can't handle vista. A lot of bloatware (doesn't matter if you install xp), and keyboard layout needs time to get use to. I also would have liked a 1600 x 1050 resolution, but the 1440 is sufficient

you can set the touchpad so it automatically disables during typing. you can get xp 64bit and 32bit drivers from nvidea or acer europe site
