Very fast. Like styling, weight and performance

Mouse pad could be in center of keyboard

Great Value

Great value laptop! For the price, I can't complain at all. I have already run the HDMI out directly into our bigscreen TV and also through our HDMI-switching receiver with perfect results! I will eventually upgrade the relatively slow hard drive...

Same as previously mentioned

Good bargain for the money, but . . .

Lack of Bluetooth seems odd, easily fixed with cheap micro dongle but then it takes up a USB port. For under $400 this laptop is a good bargain, if you're used to a nicer machine the cons may sour you and you ma find the laptop irritating. recommend...

Good bargain, performs quite well, nice sharp bright screen

Odd keyboard, keys are crowded and not very tactile. Full dedicated number pad is nice but touch-pad is offset to left and centered on alpha keyboard making it awkward. Power button is huge and right next to the edge and easy to hit.Touch-pad buttons...

Must buy.

I LOVE this laptop. I'm using it right now. I use it every day in college. I have gotten quite a lot of compliments. I was surprised that It actually looked nice. So far everything works fine and this being my first laptop at such a low price I could...

So far I have had zero cons. Probably battery life but comn. its a quad core. on lowest brightness and power saver mode lasts over 2 hours

Very nice for the price

a lot of people complain about the one speaker issue. I can say its very loud for being only speaker in the laptop. This is my second Acer, my last one is still running, I just needed something faster and with a larger hard drive, I think Acer is the...

Very fast, love the quad-core and the fact that I can upgrade the RAM to 8GB makes this scalable for the future. Very sleek design and love the graphics on this system, not a gamer so it offers everything for my needs

There are no indicators to let you know when the cap lock or the number lock is in play, a bit annoying in my opinion. The standard library of junk-ware is typical, though this was less painful than I encountered in the past, maybe we'll work toward no...

Use your fav. Headphones or small Speakers if you want 'real' sound. (did i mention - 399.99 + cooling pad + free Shipping) * Thanks NewEgg. Fast Shipping. Excellent Service*

Thin yet Sturdy design ; Handles HD vid & Pshop Extended 3D ; Recovery Discs (4dvds) quick n ez ; HDMI ; Quad & 64 bit ; Picked up network auto. and fast ; Nice Keyboard ; (Minimal bloatware) ; 399.99 + cooling pad + free Shipping

4.5 stars ; Inferior ((( mono ))) sound in 2011!! Inferior Stereo would have been more acceptable - had to max the eq. to get volume (full treble)

Great laptop

Looking forward to upgrading the hard drive.

Just got the laptop, great product. The AMD processor is quiet and fast. I upgraded the memory to 8GB and it flying. For $399 you can't beat it

Nothing so far

Great Bargain

Hard drive (WDC) averages 68.6 MB/s at the middle of the drive, which is decent for 5400 RPM. CPU hits ~70C under full stress (with a cooling pad - strongly advised) while the HDD hits 37C, both good numbers. Video card is not discrete but it gets the...

Surprisingly powerful quad-core CPU, a rarity for this price range. Full-size keyboard with decent key sizes and spacing. Has the full set of I/O that you would expect, including a pleasant screen that will do 720P and excellent networking options...

Mono speaker - I strongly advise getting a headset and/or speakers. Battery life is only fair - be sure to make use of power options. Lacks Bluetooth and has no Express Card/expansion slot

Perfect Basic Package

Perfect for me: Document processing for school and light gaming for leisure. If you're not looking for a super computer, but want something thats up to date and still somewhat fast, this is perfect. Light, sleek, and quiet; Not to mention its dirt cheap

Comes with a lot of extraneous software and toolbars for explorer; took me about 20 minutes to uninstall them for a clean slate
