Fantastic for the money

This is my second Acer in a row for personal use and I couldn't imagine being happier unless I moved up to a machine costing several hundred dollars more. I must say that I've upgraded the hard drive, memory and wireless card to make a good machine...

Solid feel and no perceived flex in the main body or the nice chicklet keyboard ; Light weight ; Sleek lines ; Decent performance ; Great battery life ; This is quite a machine for its size and low price tag

Some bloatware to remove ; Key backlighting bleeds from under/around the keys ; Stock hard disk clicks audibly (as all mechanical disks do), and is somewhat annoying in a quiet environment (pads and smart phones are spoiling me) ; Somewhat difficult to...

Great Ultrabook for the money!

Tried out a bunch a bunch of lower-end ultrabooks in the $600-$700 range, and this one was the winner. This one had very few flaws, all except the resolution being extremely minor ones. I highly recommend this if you're looking for an ultrabook in the...

Ivy bridge i5 in a ~$600 ultrabook is amazing value ; Cool -- has never gone above 50C, usually idles in the 40C range ; Slick, aluminum-style look ; Surprisingly solid keyboard. Many chicklet, island-type laptop keyboards tend to feel cheap and...

Great Buy

Altho I am not an expert on computer technology. but I can feel that this computer is very well build. My girlfriend loves its lightweight and its look. I couldn't really believe it costs under $700.

Best Value on the market ; Inexpensive ; Beautiful Look

The mouse pad could be more user friendly. The right and left buttons aren't showing. And the mouse pad locates slightly toward to the left

Pushing the edge of the ultrabook name

Surprising good "Ultrabook" from Acer. Although a 15 inch ultrabook is pushing the concept this laptop is still relatively thin and light. Bright big screen although ( would have preferred a higher resolution then 1366x786 ). Full keyboard has a good...
