Acer Aspire 1410-232G25n Ultra Portable

Acer's new 1410 netbook series is already quite popular amongst global users. Soon to be available in India, we got our hands on the latest dual core version, called the ZH7 model. Let's check it out.

Since it's not officially launched yet, these are indicative prices - MRP Rs. 35,000 and MOP Rs. 32,000. It is a bit expensive, but benefit of doubt may be given if the fact that the processor is stronger than Intel Atom processors. It performs CPU...

Acer Aspire 1410 (2936)

Acer's budget-friendly ultraportable couples twice the performance of most netbooks with good battery life.

If you like the portability of netbooks, but you want more power and a bigger screen in the same price range, the Acer Aspire 1410 is a very good choice. While identical in appearance, the Aspire Timeline 1810T lasts a couple of hours longer on a...

Acer Aspire 1410

If you like to compute on the go but hate the hassle of taking along a full-fledged laptop, you might want to consider a netbook. These little machines were built to handle the basics without weighing you down. Today we'll look at a relatively new...

Acer Aspire 1410 review

The Acer Aspire 1410 is a bit larger than your typical netbook thanks to its 11.6 inch, 1366 x 768 pixel display and nearly full sized keyboard. But with a growing number of netbook makers putting out 11.6 inch models, it's not the screen that makes...

So far so good

I bought it when the su2300 version was out, but I only found this one in my country (1410-Celeron M743), and had it for 2 weeks now. And even though it's supposed to be slower, it runs very good with win7 starter. It has a great display, and I dont...

Nice keyboard and nice display ; Acceptable speed performance ; Very good battery life ; Good speaker sound, and good camera performance for web-chat

Touchpad is sometimes hard to spot ; Came with a 3 pixel bundle flaw (acer's gonna change my screen) ; The USB port sometimes loses it's connection when moved ; It doesnt let me save the recovery info on my WD passport as an option

I had this netbook over 2 months now and LOVE it

Great product . I used to have an HP netbook , an ASUS 1000 netbook , but this ACER really rock . Good buy .

Notebook in Netbook clothing

What a pleasant surprise. Terrific value. Have used, and like, the Acer D250 and ASUS 1000, but the 1410 is in a different class. Bigger, higher-res screen; much faster CPU; better keyboard; comes with 2GB x 250GB and RAM can go to 4GB. Overall, much...

Great screen, keyboard. Nice touchpad. Real 5-hour+ battery life in constant use. Much faster than Atom netbooks and bigger screen, but still only 3.1 pounds

Mine came with Vista (but free Win 7 upgrade). Not as fast as a workhorse laptop

It is fine for what it is

I recently replaced the generic junk HDD with a Vertex 4 SSD and it has turned this slugish little thing into a very snappy machine that makes people ask how expensive it was because it is loading office faster than there laptop. Anything that doesn't...

This netbook does pretty much anything you need it to do in class or work and that is exactly what I use it for don't buy it thinking you will game or anything beyond basic flash. The HDMI port works just fine on a 1080p projector. As long as you don't...

It is a bit slow because of the 5400RPM HDD in it which is the bottle neck of most laptops because for some reason all the manufactures still use them. The ATOM's GPU is garbage but I knew that before I bought it

Sweet little computer

Immediately after it arrived I replaced the stock hard drive with a Samsung 128GB SSD and I replaced the 1GB stick of RAM with a 4GB, which leaves me with usually about 3GB under a 32-bit OS. Doing so meant I had to take much of this little guy apart,...

Beautiful screen. It is an LED LCD so viewing angles are very good ; The hardware has definitley met my expectations. This little Intel Atom N2600 is 1.66GHz and has 2 cores, it is very zippy ; Every other laptop I use feels gigantic now. This size...

Graphics driver support from Intel on Linux for this PowerVR card is horrendous. They have released a driver finally but it is so bad it is unusable for me. This means (under Linux) no hardware video acceleration or any kind of 3D. 2D acceleration is...
