Acer Aspire V 15 Nitro VN7-572G-72L0 Notebook Review

Nitro reloaded. Introduced at the IFA 2015, Acer's Nitro refresh is released in time for Christmas and the race for buyer's favor. Can the non-black edition recapture the success of the late 2014 Nitro?

quiet in routine use, swift SSD & HDD combo, matte, high-contrast IPS screen, gaming suitable up to Full HD, very good speaker sound, excellent microphone, very good input devices, keyboard backlight, thermals and performance, casing in appropriate...

difficult yet possible maintenance/upgrade, poor webcam quality, no USB Type C with version 3.1, latency and response times

Acer seamlessly continues its successful multimedia (or gaming) lineup that debuted late 2014 with its Aspire VN7-572G. The virtues of the first generation (Haswell, Broadwell) have been maintained - except for the battery life. The Soft Touch plastic...

Acer Aspire V 15 Nitro VN7-572G-54YG Notebook Review

Price-performance Nitro. Acer offers many configurations of the Aspire V 15. Equipped with an i5-ULV CPU and a GeForce 945M GPU, this model for 900 Euros (~$955) is the least expensive version of the high-end Nitro series yet. How does it hold up...

good price-performance ratio, excellent display, good chassis quality, good microphone, four speakers, keyboard illumination

tricky maintenance, bad webcam, only HDD/no SSD, USB Type-C only version 3.0

Acer uses components for our review unit – including the case, input devices and the display – that it uses for the other Nitro devices, which retail for more than 1,000 Euros (~$1061). The processor and the graphics card are less expensive, but the...

Not to sure about this laptop

Awesome Graphics and Display Sound is good Memory seems good

Alot of Bloatware or Acer software Got rid of McAfee, installed other AV. Noticed the hard drive is horrible. Although its a 1TB HDD, it runs slow. Hard Drive is using 100% when running Windows, have no other programs running, Yes it could be caused by...

the cons outweigh the pros.

i don't know why this laptop is considered a gaming laptop when its specs is of that of a non gaming laptop, but thats not the issue for me seeing as i don't play a lot of games on my laptop. the issue is how cheap it is. you cannot upgrade anything...

good on battery life. ddr4. backlit keyboard. 1080p screen.

cheap feel, upgrading the hardware requires you to dismantle the laptop even to change out the battery. too much panel bleeding around the edges.

Don't buy it has wifi connection issues

Appearance wise good but when you are playing a online game like league of legends frequently disconnects from wifi and it will not connect back automatically until you ping. I sent it for repair after 3 weeks also i dont hear anything from them.

WIFI connecting issues, I hate it when we love playing online games.

Acer Aspire V Nitro VN7-572G-75N7 Gaming Laptop 6th Generation Intel Core i7 6500U (2.50 GHz) 8 GB Memory 1 TB HDD NVIDIA GeForce 945M 2 GB 15.6" Wind

I've only had this for a week and will try to download the latest drivers to resolve annoying issues. Despite all that, I LOVE this computer! It looks good, I can FINALLY play games I purchased months ago on High to Ultra settings even, without any...

I have been looking to upgrade my 5 year old Toshiba laptop which has been great for business and other normal functions but couldn't play ANY of the newer games I downloaded off of Steam. After extensive research, I found this awesome gaming laptop...

It did have a few nagging issues. I'm NOT at all a computer of=r gaming expert so this is from a "techno dunce's" point of view - Doesn't save your settings upon waking - I have to constantly reset things like resolution and caps lock and num lock when...
