Review Acer Aspire V3-772G-747A321 Notebook

Haswell rocket. A monster in every respect: 32 GB memory, 1256 GB

Anti-reflective Full-HD display; Very good application performance; Very good 3D performance; Large storage; Maintenance & expansion capabilities; Blu-Ray drive (reader); Comparatively low noise development; Decent sound; Convenient keyboard; Very good...

All ports very far at the front; Bad color fidelity (strong blue cast - requires calibration); 32 GB RAM are exaggerated

32 GB RAM? We really don't know who could use that much memory. But it is still impressive to see that amount of memory.

Acer Aspire V3-772G-9460

The Acer Aspire V3-772G-9460 is a decent 17-inch desktop replacement laptop with plenty of entertainment options, but it has a few issues we didn't expect to see at this price.

Full HD 17-inch display. Blu-ray optical drive. Both SSD and HDD storage

Expensive. No touch screen. So-so performance. Some issues with touchpad gesture support. Lots of bloatware. Short battery life

The Acer Aspire V3-772G-9460 ($1,249.99, as tested) is something we rarely see in the Labs anymore: the 17-inch laptop that isn't built with gaming in mind. The system is too large to fit in with the current ultraportable craze, and the inclusion of an...

Acer Aspire V3-772G-9402

The Acer Aspire V3 is a quality multimedia laptop with a full HD matte screen and pretty good graphics punch.

Gorgeous 1080p display; Powerful speakers; Excellent keyboard; Good graphics performance for the money

Faux metal design; Slow hard drive; Relatively short battery life; Grainy webcam

Acer's goal with the Aspire V3-772G-9402 was to offer consumers an affordable but powerful 17-inch multimedia desktop replacement. Overall, the company succeeded. The V3 sports a gorgeous display, loud speakers, a top-notch keyboard and robust...

Acer Aspire V3 review: "Budget desktop replacement” needn’t be an oxymoron

Yes, you can buy a 17.3-inch Haswell-powered notebook with a discrete GPU for $1100. Just be prepared to make some compromises in features.

Reasonably priced ; Equipped with a discrete graphics processor ; Excellent speakers

Lacks an SSD ; Short battery life ; Relatively low benchmark performance (aside from gaming)

It's not the fastest desktop replacement we've seen, but the Aspire V3 is a very good mobile-entertainment value.

Acer Aspire V3-772G review

A powerful desktop replacement with dedicated graphics and a superb screen for less than £800

The Acer Aspire V3-772G is an excellent desktop replacement. It’s one of the most powerful laptops we’ve seen for less than £800, and wins a Best Buy award.

Satisfied customer

Overall it is a great laptop for a great laptop

The laptop is one of the best laptops in its price range, it handles games really good, the cooling fan is super quiet, the display is clear even in the brightest sun outside

The biggest flaw with this laptop is Windows 8.1, it is a complete miss putting windows 8.1 on a gaming laptop

Acer V3-772G-7616

I continue to be more impressed with this laptop every day, i have 3 hard drives in it now, 2 traditional spin drives and the ssd it came with, and have have added another 4 gig chip of ram. I also very much like windows 8.1, was a bit hesitant to try...

4 ram slots, 2 additional drive bays, I7 cpu, nice screen, good graphics performance

nonne that i can think of so far

Pleased with purchase - minor gripes

It doesn't mention it in ANYTHING I read, but flip it over to discover it, unlike many similar, has 2 drive bays, and BOTH are wired LOL. My Toshiba had two, but one was a dummy bay DOAH. I wish I could give it a 4.5, but those little things I...

I am in marketing so this is more machine than I REALLY need but I also have developed a gaming addiction to I treated myself to a $150 upgrade of "toy" As a entry gaming machine it kicks on my faves Far Cry, Black Flag and Saints Row IV over my HD3000...

I've been computing since Gates had pimples, so I'll admit to being a bit stodgy on Win8.1. So I'll come back and revisit this. My only real complaint is the lack of indicators for NumLock and Caps lock and the huge disk The 1TB HD is a dog, so I'll...

2 lemons so far

I would recommend buying a different computer. But if you do buy this one definitely buy the protection plan. You will probably need it.

The computer is very fast. I like the combination of HDD and SSD

The first one that was sent to me was dead on arrival. It had some issue booting up, and from day one it would only show me the blue screen of death. The second computer that they sent me lasted about 6 months and then the screen stopped working. The...

Pretty good for the price

For the price? Still the best value. It has small issues and it's not the prettiest computer out there but it definitely does it's job.

Lightning fast boot up with ssd ; plenty of hd space ; runs Photoshop and Illustrator smoothly ; large screen real estate

The screen is VERY blue tinted, it drove me crazy trying to correct it t first but I gave up and just got used to it. It's not really a gloss screen so it's not quite as sharp as say the HP Envy's radiant displays but it's serviceable ; The speakers...
