Great price, runs great

Takes a little updating to get it up to speed, such as downloading windows 8.1 and removing excess programs

Good overall laptop, but has minor issues

Overall a good laptop for the price, not perfect, but good so far.

Runs most everything I want it to with no problems, I haven't had any problems with crashing yet, the keyboard is good, the computer is very thin and easy to transport, and the display looks good. Nothing excels but it is great for the price

The touch pad is terrible, it sometimes simply doesn't work I suggest getting a mouse, the fans are very loud when it is running something that is cpu or gpu intensive, and it can get quite hot occasionally. There are both integrated and dedicated...

It was fun while it lasted.

I've only had it for 2 days and I've only installed 3 things (Chrome, Steam and TF2). It takes a ridiculously long time to start up and when it's done it takes even longer to open up apps.

Ran TF2 and Minecraft very smoothly

Takes forever to start up. Lags like crazy. Gets incredibly hot. The entire thing is a fingerprint magnet

I would buy any brand before an Acer.

It turned on

I owned one of Acer's machines and it was an older model. It was a dual core that wasn't as fast as my Toshiba single. I don't believe Acer uses good combinations of Mother boards and processors. I suggest other brands get looked at before buying one...

Touchpad is a little to sensitive

I like the look and design but the monitor is a deal breaker to me as is. I have gone through adjusting the gamma, brightness, contrast and color balance but can't find a realistic setting.

Like the design and keyboard

Been getting some Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to shut down messages ; Monitor is lousy. Out of the box tint was off colors way too vivid. After going through the menu several times and tweaking it they are somewhat better but...

Great laptop for the most part

I'm not a fan of Windows 8. I think it will just take some getting used to. The bluetooth will not recognize my iPhone, but I think I can fix that. Concerning the sensitive touchpad, I've found no way to adjust the sensitivity yet, and I've done quite...

Super thin and light. Battery life is phenomenal. Aesthetically pleasing. Relatively fast for normal everyday use such as class notes, internet browsing and the likes

Overly sensitive touchpad, I consistently find myself double clicking in Chrome when I did not intend to. Also, when scrolling, things get highlighted that I did not intend to highlight. Keyboard is a little sticky, and USB ports are extremely tight, I...
