eMachines EM250 Netbook

A slim netbook that's also cheap, but how will it fare against new generation models?

Slimmer design than the Acer Aspire D150, fairly light-weight, decent response touch-pad with multi-touch gestures, good pricing

Small keys on keyboard may not appeal to many, no Windows OS pre-installed

Very Very Nice Machine!

My wife uses it for: (i) surfing the net; (ii) email; and (iii) tennis desk management for local tennis tournaments, using the USTA 'TDM' program which depends on Microsoft .NET 3.5 which comes installed on this XP-SP3 machine. I actually prefer XP-SP3...

Better than I expected

I bought this to access the Internet and chat clients when I'm traveling. This netbook does that very well. It is faster and has more storage than I expected for a device so inexpensive. Three hour battery life is good for most of my trips, although...
