Acer Extensa 4620-6194 Laptop

The Acer Extensa 4260-6194 provides adequate performance for a budget-priced, business-minded machine, but don't expect to get more than what you pay for.

Affordable price tag; nice-looking display; plentiful connectivity options

Lackluster performance; bland design; cramped touch pad; no ExpressCard slot

Double your display real estate by adding a second monitor. It's a snap: Here's how

Newegg shipping still good although the outer shipping container was not securely taped, 3/4 of the top flap was loose - no visible damage to the contents, though.

Price, size/weight, speed, low operating temp. My last notebook, an HP, Celeron ran so hot it was uncomfortable on the lap. Core 2 Duo rocks. Well worth the extra

Very disappointed that Acer does NOT include a Recovery CD/DVD, not eve a means to burn your own. Instead one must spend and additional $30.00(US) to order these. For $700.00 Acer should have included them. In my opinion, Acer really dropped the ball...

wow... just... wow

This thing is great... runs great with only 1GB of ram in it. Acer Did a fine job. There is one funny note though... It had the Intel Celeron sticker on it. The processor is in fact a Dual Core. I'm Very satisfied and looking into getting more in

Wow... this thing runs great. no problems what so ever. Its fast, and does the job right. very good buy. My client was very satisfied

Well Norton was preloaded... i could have lived without it. Other then that.. none

Great Value

As always, NewEgg's service rocked. When my Gateway died NewEgg got it to me in Alaska in 3 days, just in time for a 2 week trip to Hawaii.

Excellent performance on business tasks, Multimedia use not bad for the price level, light, compact, easy to use, good features, good battery life for office and movies. Much better performance than the Gateway it replaced

Cant really think of any. Make sure you download the Microsoft hotfix to enable XP to log on to WPA and WPA2 wireless networks or you will not be able to connect to anything other than WEP or wide open networks ; Cant find a spare battery yet, even...

EX4620-6194 T5450 1.66G 1GB 120GB DVDRW 14.1-WXGA WL LAN XPP

This Acer unit is being used in a clroom with an interactive whiteboard. The overall results are excellent and it is getting the job done, helping the teacher work with her students.

Nice quality unit. Has a DVD+/-RW and fast wireless on board.

Little tricky getting the resolution correct to work with an interactive whiteboard.

Nice basic Laptop

the bluetooth button and ir port seem unnecessary, the software install was wierd, but after getting all my setings right, the acer started to resemble a real workhorse.

I bought this as a gift and was happy to find a laptop with win xp in my budget. The cpu, ram, are HDD are more than sufficient for my needs (internet, ms office)

This has a bluetooth button but no bluetooth device, also has its own softaware that installs itself on first boot and second re-boot and third. arrgh

You get what you pay for.

Two problems with this product, first the length. It is much shorter than the original charging system that came with the computer. Second the jack that is inserted into the computer fits very loosely. If the cord isn't held in a certain orientation...
