Value and Upgradability

Excellent value. Wifi and RAM modules, hard disk very easy to upgrade (with parts fron newegg of course!) as they have their own access covers

Keyboard layout is slightly curved, making it a bit harder for touch typists used to straight rows of keys. It's a bit big and battery life a bit short for purely mobile computing

Excellent Budget Laptop!

Hard Drive is partitioned into (2) Fat32 partitions... easily fixed though.

Nice, clear widescreen... no dead pixels. Good solid keyboard. Runs whisper quiet. This laptop is very light and portable for on the go. SATA interface hard drive! Internal Wireless Card (54Mb/s). All in all this laptop is a great deal at a great...

256MB memory... recommend getting at least another 256MB. Touchpad is a little different than I'm used to, has more of a rectangle shape

Great for College Kids

I have a friend that repairs computers and this is the one brand that he never has to work on.

Perfect weight for a person to take to class. My daughter is leaving for college in the fall and needed a laptop. At the suggestion of a friend I purchased this computer. We love it

Screen is a little small, but we expected that since it only weighs 6 lbs

Low cost, high quality.

I ordered it on a Sunday night and I got it on tuesday afternoon with UPS 3-day. NewEgg pwns.

very cheap! I was supprised at how light it is while still feeling substantial and well made. Everything on it feels solid, from the keys, to the CD drive, to the casing. It uses ddr2 ram- I have a gig of dual-channel Mushkin pc4700 in mine and it...

At first it seemed as though my psu was faulty- but it just completly stopped all of a sudden. Starts out with Fat32 file system

First Notebook

I personally suggest you buy nother 512mb ram stick right away. Then later get a 7200 harddrive.

Plays World of Warcraft (in wide screen), and it comes with Window Xp Professional ; Great notebook for the money. And great potentail to upgrade

Comes with only one 512mb ram stick. 5400rpm harddrive

Super fast wireless internet

My wife is a teacher and this is the perfect size for her. After upgrading the memory to a gig, it ; really moves. I also converted it to ntfs from fat 32

Speakers are not the best but a very minor thing
