Removed partitions, formatted hard drive and installed XP Pro. Visited Acer website for driver downloads that XP did not have and now I have a lean mean machine. (Will upgrade to 2GB memory)

Good price. Affordable

A Steal!!!

 

It is not a Dell XPS or an Alienware...but also you are not paying 3 grand. For the average user it is more than enough. DVD evens plays movies great. My personal Laptop is a Sony, and there is not enough difference to justify paying a premium for...

Great Screen, Not loaded with third party bloatware(except Symantec), excellent sleek design and layout. Bought three (3) as presents. For the money I can't see how you could do better. Maybe if free

It is slow due to the 256 memory...but that can be remedied by extra memory

What can you expect for $xxx? Overall not too bad... been trying for the past two hours to get all the pre-installed garbage off to see if it helps the speed problem.

Sleek, relatively lightweight. Has a bluetooth logo on the front, but I've yet to test it

SLOW! Took 25 minutes to load Windows for the 1st time. Hard drive came partitioned, and system did not include a Windows or Restore Disk

It came with to low of memmory. I had to buy 512mb to speed things up

Technical assistance when one appeared to not be working.

One of the glide pads was not working when it arrived. This had been turned off.
