Review Acer TravelMate 5740Z Notebook

Pentium Business. An office book for little money? This TravelMat

Resistant surfaces; Quiet and cool; Low power consumption; Useable keyboard; Matt display

Low application performance; Jerky fan; Short battery life; TFT too dark (outdoors); Few interfaces

MSI CR620: perfect port positioning; Asus X52JB: 350M alternative with HD 5146; Acer Aspire 5551G: with AMD triple core; Samsung P530 Pro: very quiet; Fujitsu Fujitsu LifeBook A530: matt display; Lenovo IdeaPad G560: extremely inexpensive Core i3.

Acer Aspire 5740-332G25Mn review

A decent Core i3 laptop for under £500, with a bright screen and good battery life, but some corners have been cut. Spend a bit more cash and you can get a much better laptop.
