Acer W510-1422

Still have not decided what to purchase for a Tablet yet!

Nice features & if it din't mess up on BIOS update. It would be a nice tablet. Seems to be a common problem

Memory not upgrade able, HD is specified as a SSD but it really is an eMMC and as far as I know can NOT be upgraded

Acer W510-1422

Just purchased this to replace my VivoTab RT that I recently returned. An Atom based Windows 8 tablet without a doubt superior to Windows on ARM. This tablet is lighter, faster, and overall a better product than anything I've used running on Windows RT

The monitor side camera leaves a little to be desired. Speakers are also more on the low end

Great Tablet

This is a great tablet at a good price. You can set up a Hotmail account on the tablet and your phone to sync calendars. It takes a while to get used to windows 8 but that isn't a tablet issue. This tablet does everything my laptop can do and its a lot...

Light weight even with keyboard its not bad ; Windows 8 32bt not RT version. Runs Microsoft office great ; Found and installed my wireless printer during the setup ; Great tablet for the price got it on sale on Newegg so the keyboard was basically free...

touchpad on the keyboard is very touchy. easier to use a small mouse. I have also noticed sometimes when your typing it misses letters ; Microsoft no longer works with Google calendar to sync between smartphone and tablet

This little beauty

so I just thought i would list what came in the box because i didn't see one. The tablet the keyboard dock the micro usb adapter a screen cleaner the charging cable (and three prong tip) and a little packet of warranty info and user manual Well I am...

Well What can I say I am in love. (lol) jk, but still i love this little thing. If Acer got anything right it is the w510 if you know what you purchased. So lets start by saying that the touch screen is crystal clear and very responsive, the change...

Ok the only real negative I have found thus far is, it likes to heat up when on the charger. My only regret is not springing for the w510p with window pro, really need pro for windows 8 outlook and i think it comes with a couple of extra gizmos such as...

Frustrated

I know this is a new product, and perhaps a fix is in the works, but I don't have the patience to wait and see if a fix is made. I wanted a device that would keep me from worrying about my hardware so I could focus on my projects. I wanted that out of...

This device is very neat, maybe a lil slow, but that's cause i haven't used anything but my desktop for a while. Battery power is amazing, and the screen is bright and vivid

I really only have one complaint. The whole system is balanced b/w power and function, no complaints there. I just have an incredibly hard time making the touchpad on the attachment to work properly. It behaves erratically, either not tracking my...

Decent tablet despite keyboard/touchpad issues

I need to see how Acer responds to my problems with the keyboard and touchpad before I make a final determination on this tablet. I am enjoying it so far, but need these to work as I'd like this tablet to be the only device I take with me when I...

This tablet is faster than I imagined it would be. In the Metro screen, it is very responsive. The Desktop screen has a slight lag, but nothing too bad ; The shape of the device is nice -- slightly longer and narrower than an iPad, and about the same...

I experienced keyboard/touchpad issues right out of the box. The spacebar has to be hit quite hard right in the middle to register a space. When using the touchpad, the mouse sometimes moves erratically. For example, it'll go in the opposite direction...
