macbook core 2 duo

The upgrade to core 2 processors is probably useless for virtually most people, but to me it was important. Some of my number crunchning applications got a speed boost, due to the better hardware. However the harddrive died after 3 months. I know that...

Most Reliable Notebook Ever!!!!!

I can't take the poor quality of Windows products anymore. At first Windows is great, but after some time things start to go crazy. Windows takes forever to come up and I hate the blue screen of death. Yeah it may have been viruses that caused a lot of...

Great Little Laptop!

I've had this laptop for about a month now and I am only now getting to know the various features. I've been a PC user my whole life but am now dividing my time evenly between Mac (for creativity) and PC (for work). I upgraded to new Leopard O/S as...

Intuitive, fast, compatible, portable

Dipping my toe in Apple waters for the first time since the Apple II, I have been pleased with this unit's capabilities. Tiger and the included applications are quite intuitive, and there is considerably less heft to lug around on trips than my...

Intel processor, Office for Mac works well with Windows world. Size and battery life make it truly portable.

Substantial price premium over Windows machines. Can't understand why Samsung has no Apple drivers for its laser printers.

Excellent Laptop!!

I bought this laptop to replace my one year old MacBook; the features are essentially the same with a larger hard drive and faster processor. It comes with built-in bluetooth and high-quality web-camera, which works very well for internet chats and...

Elegant and powerful computer.

Ships with limited RAM (upgrade is recommended).

This little Macbook built with quality, user friendly design, and nice features (some you will never see from other brands!). It has very solid design and great features (remote control, magnet AC adapter connect, build in blue tooth, etc. ) with...

Great Computer

Wonderful laptop computer from Apple. It has a bright and clear screen, camera and microphone built in, DVD-RW drive, and a fantastic keyboard to type on. The wireless (Airport) works wonders, and I was able to link it up with my home router in 10...

Great little laptop

I am a recent switcher from Windows. The Macbook arrived in this beautiful packaging, unlike the staid brown boxes that competitor PC makers ship thier products in. Opening the packaging box is an event in itself!. Set up on first power-on is so simple...

Apple Macbook is great for every day tasks as well as working with pictures!

I got my MacBook a week ago and while at first I still used my Windows Laptop once in a while I have now completely switched to the MacBook for everything I do. I just had to use a Windows PC again today and was surprised to see that I already tried to...

Intuitive Software, fabulous design, smart features (remote control, front row software, magnetic charger...), does not hang itself up like Windows XP, Mac OS X!, works with Windows if needed.

Some internet sites require MS Internet Explorer to work, some games that require a graphic card (GeForce etc.) may not OFFICIALLY work on the Macbook.

Apple Mac book the best laptop the consumer market has to offer..

I got my macbook because Apple has always rolled out solid products and yeah it cost more than most laptops on the market. It's still well worth it. Plus you can use Windows with additional software.

Awesome design, Easy OS. Can use Windows Vista or XP as well with boot camp or parallels

The only weakness I see is that the video graphic chip shares system memory..Apple should have given the consumers 2 gigs of memory from the start
