Perfect for college student

 

I'm guessing the white color was originally priced to drive traffic there by a marketing type who wanted the products to be visible and differentiated from all the other laptops out there - the only technical difference between this (black) model and...

No Vista worries. Easy portability for classroom use, notetaking. Relatively secure as-is. Good battery life.

My student wanted black color, but I paid very hefty premium for the color with only 40GB additional HDD space as the only technocal difference. No coupon for upgrade to Leopard.

Not as great as the last 2 Macbooks I've owned

 

With 2GB of RAM and 2.16 the startup is blazing fast! The 160GB harddrive is plentiful for a college student. I still have 108GB free! The only weakness that I've notice is the "You must shutdown the computer" message. Up to this point I've received...
