I have had several PCs and Macs over the years. I bought this MacBook for my wife, who has never used a Mac and was very skeptical about switching. She loves it! Upgraded with 2GB of RAM (which I recommend), this laptop is fast. Mac OS 10.5...

I have always used apple computers. I always needed a more powerful and portable computer. It is a bit too expensive. But like the old saying goes, "you get what you paid for." You may pay more but after exploring your macbook more you'll see that you...

Portable. Much more secure than windows. Easy access to all connections on one side. Looks good. A lot of features

Price. May need a better graphics card. Software more expensive than windows

Apple's baseline MacBook delivers big bang for the buck. While a tad pricey compared to a PC counterpart, the MacBook makes up for it in the Mac OS's speed, simplicity, and immunity to security vulnerabilities that XP and Vista are. After 4 years on...

I hate it. Never buy one of these if you want to be able to do something with your computer. Go Dell or Alienware. Don't waste your money!!!!!

none besides it is pretty fast

Can't install many games, or other software unless it is apple. OS isn't what it is said to be. Apple rips you off

These days I'm surprised when everything works like it's supposed to. After years with a PC, this is easy and fun. The Mac OS seems to run strong and transparently, and the GUI makes sense and doesn't add unneeded complexity. As someone who just...

This is my first laptop, and my first Mac, so I have no comparison, except I can say that I was not disappointed--everything works well. Screen, though small, is best I've ever seen

None that I notice. I wouldn't have bought it if it lacked something I needed

I love this computer and would and have recommended it to lots of folks. The size is perfect for easy transport but is is still full size and easy to type on. The quality is very good and I have identified no weak points. Finally, System X makes is a...

The MacBook has a good screen, the speed with the Intel processor is more than adequate and the size is perfect
