Review Apple MacBook Air 11 Mid 2013 i5 1.3 GHz 128 GB

A gentle breeze. Not a beat too late in the circannual rhythm, Ap

Compact and mobile build, weighs only about 1000 grams (~2.2 lbs); Aluminum unibody case very pleasant to the touch; USB 3.0 and Thunderbolt; Very good input devices; Very good application performance; Increased graphics performance; Very good battery...

No SD card slot; "Only" HD resolution; Almost zero expandability or accessibility for maintenance

Presumably the MacBook Air 13 in its newest edition. Same qualities and a somewhat larger screen for a reasonable fee. Otherwise just the Asus Zenbook UX21A and the Sony Vaio Pro 11, both of which are looking to draw in the same kinds of customers...

Apple MacBook Air ( 11-inch, 128GB)

The current MacBook Air models differ from the 2013 versions in that the base model uses a 1.4GHz Intel Core i5, an upgrade from the previous 1.3GHz processor. More significantly, the 11.6-inch MacBook Air now starts at $899 (from $999) in the US and...

The new 11-inch MacBook Air is a little faster and runs even longer, thanks to a small spec bump. More importantly, the base price drops by $100 to $899.

The new CPU is a very minor upgrade over last year’s Air and the system is still lacking an SD card slot.

Apple’s 11-inch Air gets a CPU speed bump and a decent price cut over the already excellent 2013 version. If you have a recent model there's no need to upgrade, but for anyone else, it's now a better deal than ever.

Apple MacBook Air (11-inch, April 2014) review:

The now-familiar MacBook Air hasn't seen a design overhaul in several generations, and the small update to the 13-inch and 11-inch models released in April 2014 does nothing to change that.

The new 11-inch MacBook Air is a little faster and runs even longer, thanks to a small spec bump. More importantly, the base price drops by $100 to $899.

Apple MacBook Air 11-inch (2014) Review

Here is the question: Is the MacBook Air still a viable choice for those looking for portable yet powerful laptop, especially in a market flooded with Ultrabooks and hybrids?

Excellent design ; Terrific performance ; Quiet and cool ; Superb trackpad and keyboard

Display quality merely adequate ; Lousy port selection ; Aluminum construction prone to dents and scratches

This is a niche device, suitable for Apple users that need both portability and power. While it’s tempting to compare it to other Ultrabooks, it actually has a lot in common with the Surface Pro 2, which has very similar specs and is built for a very...

Apple MacBook Air 11-Inch (2014)

The latest 11-inch Apple MacBook Air is an ultraportable laptop in the purest sense of the term. You sacrifice a little utility, but in return, you get a prime travel companion.

Thin and lightweight. Fourth-generation Intel Core processor. Extraordinary battery life. Bright screen. Nice multitouch trackpad. Backlit keyboard. Thunderbolt port. Dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi.

The 1,366-by-768 resolution is lower than many Windows-based counterparts. No SD slot, Ethernet, or HDMI ports. Stiff keyboard and short keyboard deck.

Apple MacBook Air 11-inch (Mid 2013)

The Apple MacBook Air 11-inch (Mid 2013) is the Haswell updated version of the iconic ultraportable laptop. It lasts over 10 hours running on battery power, so it's a highly recommended choice if you must have the thinnest possible laptop with the most...

Apple 11-inch MacBook Air Review

Apple said it would never make a netbook, and it hasn't. The 11-inch MacBook Air is a powerful ultraportable that makes other systems in its class look positively bloated. More important, this machine never keeps you waiting, thanks to the way it uses...

Amazingly thin and light design, Wakes instantly from sleep, boots very fast, Comfortable keyboard and large gesture-friendly touchpad, Webcam makes FaceTime calls, Surprisingly strong speakers, Good battery life

No SD Card slot, Keyboard not backlit, Lid sometimes falls back, Competing ultraportables have faster CPUs
