Review Apple MacBook 13 inch

Apple now implements Intel processors in the successors of the iB ...

design, very silent, weight, good input devices, optimized for MacOS X

scratch sensitive, moderate windows support (yet), low stability of viewing angles, reflecting display, foot on battery

MacOS X pleases - if you don't want to use any software, which does not exist with MacOS, there is no reason to Windows to transfer. Of course it requires a certain time of habituation for newbees. But since the Apple transferred to Intel processors,...

Apple Macbook 13-inch (Core 2 Duo T7200)

Even with more processor speed, hard drive capacity, and RAM size, the base-model MacBook is still one of the most affordable and best-looking laptops in the market.

Best software bundle in the industry. Price is not affected by a component refresh. Supports both Microsoft Windows Vista and Windows XP. Unique keyboard. Stunning design

DVD burner should be standard. RAM upgrade is a little pricey

Apple MacBook 13-inch White (Core 2 Duo)

When it comes to budget laptops, the MacBook 13-inch White (Core 2 Duo) is easily one of my top choices, especially now that it has the latest Intel Core 2 Duo processor.

Core 2 Duo upgrade completes the laptop line. Only one inch thick. Excellent performance. iSight Camera. More hard drive options. Front Row interface and remote

DVD burner doesn't come standard ; Watch the Apple MacBook Video Review

Apple MacBook 13-inch (White)

You don't have to spend a fortune on a MacBook Pro or even a top-tier MacBook to get a decent amount of speed. As a matter of fact, the base configuration is the best place to start.

Speedy yet affordable. Comprehensive software bundle. 1 inch thick

Doesn't have a modem. Doesn't have a PC Card/Express Card Slot. Battery life could be better for a lightweight laptop

Some parts failed

Good machine overall. However, DVD drive broke after 1 year, expensive to replace and cannot do so yourself. Apple not much help at all. Still working on it.

Macbook, the notebook for everyone

I couldn't be much happier with my Macbook. I've had my black 13" Macbook for three and a half months now, it has a 2.2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor and 2 GB of sheep =)It has been an amazingly stable and dependable machine. I've been used to working...

My MacBook turned out to be a LEMON!

I purchased a Macbook laptop almost 2 years ago. This laptop has given me nothing but issues over this time. I can give you all the minute details, but basically it had been for repairs at least 5-6 times to replace the battery, hard drive, random...

Sudden showdown

I crossed over to the MacBook after a liftime of using Windows notebooks. My Macbook (13-inch white) is a little over a month old now and I've been very happy with its performance, apart from the very noticeable heat at the bottom. Yesterday (6...

Heat overblown

Used the 13" Mackbook 1.8ghz for over a week and I concluded the "heat scare" is just that. A bunch of PeeCee guys creating bad press. ...Just an FYI people. Keyboard is a little slippery when new - my only beef. Great product.

Excellent speed, easy to use, smart looking

Cannot give it 5 stars, as it runs a lot hotter on the bottom than regular laptops (I'm worried about this) & ability to self-maintain is poor. Got the higher end white edition (2ghz, 80gb, 1gb ram). One of my college kids, who is used to the windows...
