13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display (2013) review

When Apple updates its MacBook laptops you might not be able to notice the difference on the outside but it sure is a major change on the inside.

If you’re in the market for a new laptop computer that is a delightful combination of design and performance you can’t go past Apple’s 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display.

It's fast, simple, and elegant

Still new to the MacBook, but it's definitely an easy setup. I'm still trying to get used to the UI and how things work between Windows and MacOS X, but they're all relatively easy to learn. The easy setup made it simple to get started ; First of all,...

Difficult to navigate with just the touchpad at times. I recommend using an external mouse ; Great for multimedia, coding, and photoshop, not so much for gaming

Worth the upgrade

Just upgraded from a 15" MBP from 2009, night and day difference in resolution and performance. I don't miss the optical drive and my SpiShutter still fits nicely to block my webcam when not in use

Battery drains fast when running Windows in VMWare fusion pro 6.0 (there might be ways to optimize it in power management settings) ; I also had to upgrade all my macbook power adaptors as the the new MBP uses a smaller version of magsafe connector

That was fast!

Wow was my daughter surprised with this Macbook Pro for college ; Product was well packaged and came well packaged. It was brand new and still in plastic wrap

No communication from Action Packaged, Inc. That's ok though, as I saved over $300 and received it in 5 days

Apple Quality

This is a great product. I used to be 100% PC, but Windows 8 is so horrible that it's time to abandon PC products. I love Windows 7, but MS is sticking with Windows 8 and 9 doesn't sound like it's going to be much better. It's time for PC users to...

I have worked with PC's for over 10 years. The last laptop I was a Mac. I sold it and was in the market for a PC laptop. I returned 4 PC laptops because there's no quality control, cheaply built, and unreliable. I notice the PC manufacturers trying to...

It didn't come with a Thunderbolt Ethernet cable. The Macs I bought new for the company I worked at had the Ethernet dongle included. Not a huge deal because the WiFi is 802.11AC which works great. FYI you will need to buy this dongle, which is about...

work laptop

In all great for pretty much anything. Pricy but, if your looking to buy somthing smaller then a notebook with great power to match the size this is perfect for almost everything

Fast. Easy to use if your able to learn fast. For work it's amazing plus the app you can get are great when you have a sec to relax

I have had this for a while and it's still hard keeping up with where all my minimized windows are

Apple MacBook Pro 13 Inches ME864B/A

This is a beautifully engineered product that is ideal for business or pleasure use. This is my second Mac (first one was a Mac Book Air) and I think this is even better

Have not tried the software for running Windows on the Mac but that is the only downside as I have some software that I use for business that has to use the Windows platform. Hopefully this will not be a problem
