Apple MacBook Pro (15.4-inch 2.33GHz Intel Core 2 Duo)

The sleek, aluminum MacBook Pro is the same size and shape as its predecessor, and it clearly stands out from the white plastic look of iPods, iMacs, MacBooks, and other more consumer-oriented Apple products. The MacBook Pro feels lighter than the...

Sleek design; illuminated keyboard; built-in Webcam and remote control; can run Windows XP via Boot Camp; adds FireWire 800 support.

Lacks media card reader; only 90 days of toll-free technical support.

If you've been holding off on making the leap to a MacBook because of the lack of Core 2 Duo processors, this new update adds the latest Intel CPUs and provides a great overall computing experience, albeit at a premium price.

The new 15″ Intel-based Mac Book Pro is a faithful and aggressive continuation of the record breaking and standard-setting PowerBook line of Apple laptops first introduced to the world in 1991. Externally, the MacBook Pro and the 2003-2006 PowerBook...

Sexy design; silent operation; runs both Windows XP and OSX; bright screen

Wireless connection issues with software update; possible glitches in other technologies

The Intel-based MacBook Pro met or surpassed our expectations.

This is my first Mac, coming from a Dell Inspiron e1505. The MBP doesn't have the quality sound of laptop speakers compared to the DI, took me a while to get used to the trackpad, but now that I am used to it, I hardly ever use my mouse. My Apple magic...

Runs both OS X and Windows 7 great. Very fast and reliable

Speakers lack quality sound

I would buy this laptop 30 times over, it's the best computer I've ever had, I haven't had a single problem with it in several years, and I bought it USED!!!

fast, reliable, not too bulky, nice design, great bright screen, great features

Gets a little bit warm, hard to see when ouside in the sun, battery doesn't last that long

I decided to choose the older 2.33ghz model over the currently released unibody Macbook simply because I cannot stand to own a machine with that horrid glossy screen! As much as I would love to have a 'brand' spankin current model in my hands, I can't...

Very fast, runs OS-X Leopard + Windows 7 parallels very smoothly, LCD is great, Backlit keyboard rocks, Build quality is high, Touchpad is ace, great size, Mag safe is brilliant, the spacious minimalist design is eye candy and nice to work with

Needs 3 USB ports, The LCD hinges feel flimsy, keyboard feels a little cheapish, runs quite warm at times (seen around 70 - 80c under full load), CD Rom is noisy, 3gb RAM, Noisy fans & battery life

I have upgraded to leopard and love iChat. In all I like mostly everything except for sound quality! Compared to every other laptop besides macs, the sound isnt loud at all. My friends HP is very loud for sound. It makes me mad cuz when im in public...

I have one. I like that everything I need runs on it. (Microsoft Word etc.) I really love how I can have windows Xp on here with VMware Fusion. easy it is to store pictures, music and make your own movies. iChat for Leopard is awesome

The sound quality isn't loud at all. Its a bit better than on my ibook. I also wished there was a windows live messenger for mac. If they could correct that I wouldn't need a PC. I like windows vista too though

This has to be the best purchase I could have made. In the past people would tell me the only reason to buy a Mac was if I wanted to go into computer graphics. Granted, I chose to minor in CG, but I still use my MacBook Pro for just about everything I...

Integrates with my pc externals, can use microsoft office

can't play my pc games on it

Get it for Free here:

Very well built, Great overall performance, Smaller dimensions and weighs less than other laptops in its class (1lb less than the Acer 8204 for example), Can run Windows XP or OS X

Somewhat hot when pluged in, Boot Camp not quite ready for the masses, Underclocked GPU

"Among the best laptops available, bar none"

It's easy to write off the enthusiasm of Apple's fans as just too much hype and loyalty, but the truth is that Apple's products are usually solid with features and design that lead the industry. As a guy who uses both Windows and Mac laptops every...

Speedy performance, loaded with options, still a killer design

You could find a few nits to pick, but fewer than other laptops
