The screen brightness, lit keyboard, trackpad, and durability are some of the high points of this Mac

Add'l cons: Card slot worthless. Battery fai... 

Sharp screen, nice feel to keyboard, love the mag adapter and backlit keyboard. OSX can't be beat. Durable case, clasp works great, sturdy hinge - solid all the way around without being heavy

Had this 2 1/2 yrs/SprDrv only reads some cds&dvds/Prob's began 1yr ago/Can't burn-read blanks/Airport barely picks up signal-others have 4 bars/Freezes more than my PB/Slows to a crawl running WinXP thru Parallels

Better, faster, stronger

It contains circuitry that would fail in any time. This happens offten out from the warranty coverage time. But some equipment will fail a week from purshase day or less

Looks good even though pc manufacturers are catching up

Almost everything. Very few popular software and devices are sold for Apple computers. Lack of choice as the first Ford motor model T introduction compared to the marketplace

Add'l cons: Card slot worthless. Battery failing/In OSX, perf drop w iPhoto&iTunes open(1g of RAM)/OfficeMac slows apps/Videocam can't compare to pc cams

The Nvidia8600 chip appears to be failing, the cpu loose something and youll have no more than a "Black Screen Of Death". Many MBP are failing every day and the way to fix them are changing the logic boards.
