A Solid Laptop with Good Price/Performance ration

I would highly recommend throwing 4GB (2x2GB) in this laptop. You can get a great deal right here on newegg. Also, upgrading the harddrive is another cheap upgrade that will really improve overall performance. One thing to note is that the mobo on this...

This laptop has a good price/performance ratio relative to Apple's line of laptops. I am a professional sound engineer and PC technician and needed a notebook that could handle a Pro Tools LE environment at a good price. Everyone told me to go with a...

If Apple dropped the price another 100-200 dollars on this machine, I think it would have a much better price/performance ratio in relation to other solid PC laptops on the market (Acer, Asus, among others you can buy right here on newegg for an...

very nice

I got thid for its size if you want something smaller than a 14" for portability you would be hard pressed to find a better deal with similar specs in a pc notebook.

its very easy to learn. I am a pc user and have been since I was a kid. beautiful screen. os x is awesome and the mac suite is a great starter. Its easy to install programs and delete them if you want. Seems like everything is under your fingertips....

the fit and finish is a little off par to what i think it should be. the battery doesnt sit flush and the battery lock is not flush on one side. The sides are also a little sharp and sometimes scrape your forearms. those are the only reasons to why i...

fast, stable and great fit and finish

Perhaps best thing about macs is no Viruses or spyware, which means you don't need any virus protection running and slowing you down. Reason there no viruses because OS is less buggy with almost no backdoors like windows does.

First of all I've been using pcs over 11 years and use to build them, after using vista, I got a mac. This computer is very well build, its fast too and OS 10.5 Leopard is much better than vista, in fact its leaps ahead, full 64bit and 32bit OS, while...

Incredible machine!

If you already like OS X, then you can't go wrong with this laptop. If you are a diehard windows user thinking about changing, I recommend it, but borrow a mac for some time and try it. Most I think like it better, but some don't. I tried converting my...

Oh, where to start. It's certainly not perfect, but changing from a Toshiba Vista laptop to this is such a welcome change. Now, I am also a Mac fan, so this is somewhat biased.

Morons

To you morons out there that say you have technical expertise and cannot get your machine going properly, why don't you just sell your machines that obviously have a IQ user level that you do not posess, then maybe you'll be back in your comfort zone....

This machine is a great, intuitive powerful laptop. The MacBook kicks bu## on dedicated Windoze machines and even runs the OS better than other machines made for the Windoze OS. Oh, I'll spell them out for you who can't figure out what ""Windoze""...

Awesome

If you get the macbook pro you could also use that for gaming with bookcamp and an xp install.

The macbook is awesome. I work an in environment with both mac and windows machines. I almost never have to trouble shoot a mac. They are always working. Then to make it even better you can use bootcamp or vmware fusion and put windows on it.

I have worked on 20 or 30s of these and have only seen it once where the case started to crack in strange places and it wasn't due to abuse.

Macbook

My mom has used window computers since windows 3.1. 2 Years ago for Christmas we got her a ibook. She figured out almost everything about the computer in about a week. She has to call me for tech support about 1 time a week with her windows computer at...

It's a Mac. ultra-high build quality. Love the OS. Runs Windows if that's what you want. Runs windows better than a windows laptop will of similar spec. Doesn't cost twice as much like other people think, build a dell that has all the same hardware and...

forced to use

I am a computer tech in a PC enviroment. We purchased 37 macbooks and 1 mac book pro 4 months ago and I have been "forced" to learn them, use them and trobleshoot them. It did take a little time to "feel" my way around them, but I am really enjoying...

Do not play very well with active directory, although they are better now that there is leopard.

My favorite laptop!

I love my new macbook! It's so fast and easy to use! I was a little nervous at first going from a PC to a mac, but my worries would soon subside. The mac is very intuitive to use and it only took a few minutes of reading to figure out the operational...
