I absolutely LOVE Macs. They're so much better than PCs in everything except for gaming (but that goes without saying). This is my first Mac, and it definitely will not be my last! I'm looking at buying an iMac next. =)

Fast processor, 45nm, 2GB memory, beautiful screen and chassis, large hard drive, completely STABLE Mac OSX 10.5. OSX is the best OS I've ever used. It's clean, simple, and is just as powerful as, if not more powerful than, Windows Vista.

Graphics Chip could be A LOT better. They just came out with a new Macbook with Nvidia graphics chips. Took them long enough! You would have thought they would have figured that out a long time ago. Ugh.

Its Pretty

I'm a systems admin, so I know the PC... this is my first Mac. It works great for routine everyday tasks. For the money, I could have a sweet pc and not feel like a newbie again. Maybe i'm just being lazy.

It's gorgeous. Easy to Use

Price. Weight. Screen(Directional). Flaky wireless performance(802.11g)

My first Mac

This is my first mac and I am impressed on just how well built it is, from hinges, to dvd/cd rom drive, to keys on the keyboard, very compact and lightweight also. Leopard takes a little getting used to but seems to be much smoother than windows, not...

From what I have read on the forums the Microsoft Office for Macs is very glitchy. Although you can run windows on this setup its feels kinda like putting Yugo rims on a Caddilac, I just cant bring myself to do it, just gonna make this my personal play...

Good, when it works...

Probably would have been better if it had worked for more the 2 weeks.

OSX leopard, cool looking mac

Only worked for about 2 weeks then it broke, but that's apple for you. It is also quite expensive you can get something way better for less

I'm happy with my purchase and am a converted mac user. To anyone who doesn't think its possible to switch because all your precious software, take a serious look at Parallels or any of the other applications that will run windows virtually at the same...

Love the size. Form factor is amazing. I have the Incase neoprene sleeve that is made for it. It's great to just pick up my laptop and hit the road to wherever. I needed something in the 13" range and it was either this or the Dell XPS. The...

There are always cons right? The soft finish of the black macbook shows fingerprints like no other. Greasy hands and this beautiful device don't mix. I'm not sure why Apple can't make a 13" Macbook. The advantages of the Pro vs. the non-pro are...

BlackBook Beats All!

Mine is a bit different than either Apple or Newegg said it would be, I have a very powerful Intel 965 GMA (double the x3100) and my Core 2 Duo registers at a total of 5.96 GHz instead of the ~4.8Ghz that is stock. But I am not complaining, I...

Wonderful design and layout, its like Apple acctually wants the customer to enjoy the product that they just bought, very unlike PCs. The MacBook looks much better in the black color, and the extra 90 GB is nice. I upgraded the RAM to 4GB and this...

None really, just that it wasn't free

Newegg's customer services was top notch on the exchange of the first laptop so I could purchase the MacBook.

I bought another windows based laptop with the hopes of saving money but was disappointed. This Mac is the best investment I have made in a long time! I know it will last forever. I purchased parallels and I am running Windows XP on the Mac and it runs...

They are pricey but I've learned you get what you pay for.

Apple build quality

Only 2 USB ports - 3 would be perfect (for me)

Cost of ownership vs. price

PRICE! Other reviews skip over this topic and I think that's a mistake because the price of any product is always a big concern, so I'm going to address just this issue. I would like to point out that price ISN'T the thing to focus on - cost of...

Apple build quality ; OX ; Dual bootable with Windows or Linux ; High resale value

Good On The Go Laptop

Nevertheless awesome product to purchase, osx is an amazingly stable os, way better in comparison to windows. Reccomend for anyone who is on the go and needs their work with them at all times. If you want to design or do a bit more i reccomend getting...

I am an avid Windows User, i never believed anything that anyone said when people told me that Mac is a better os. So i decided to purchase my first mac ever with the macbook. I must say the transition from windows to mac was generally easy and fast....

Screen is a bit hard to get use to. You have to tilt it just right to get the res you want to see things better. But it is a relative small screen. The keyboard doesn't light up like the macbook pro, so if you are doing work in darker areas it's a bit...
