Review Apple MacBook Pro 15 Early 2011 (2.2 GHz quad-core, glare-type screen)

More Power! As the final version of the Apple MacBook Pro 15, we'

Excellent Design and Craftsmanship; Outstandingly Sturdy Case with Nice Feel; Decent Trackpad; Thunderbolt Port Ensures Future Compatibility; Good Weight for its Class; Office and Multimedia Performance; Battery Life and Power Consumption

High Starting Price; Reflective Screen Restricts On-The-Go Use; Short 12-Month Warranty; Few Accessories; Non-Removable Battery

The biggest downside of the more powerful version is the excessively high increase in price. For the better hardware configuration, Apple is currently charging 400 Euro on top of the already very high starting price of 1,749 Euro. Mac users with high...

Disappointed by no warranty

My hard drive failed after 6 months and neither Apple nor Newegg will take any responsibility. It's a $300+ repair job! Most refurb stuff from other manufacturers will give you a one year warranty

Worked for return period

No Applecare! -- no warranty at all ; Got slower over time

Great refurb. Check your specs...

Early in my ownership. Have had less than a week. Will update if anything funny occurs. I purchased an extended coverage plan, just in case. Never can tell with Refurbs... For the price, it was still lower than the price of a similar new unit. Of...

In great shape for a refurb. Slight blemishes, but as to be expected. Under 300 battery cycles. Actually came upgraded to Mavericks 10.9.4

Only has 512 MB dedicated VRAM on the Radeon 6750M. Slightly disappointed with that, due to the fact that I will be running Vectorworks on it

High speed. No problems with the refurb. Just had to replace the battery after 6 months. I upgraded the memory to 16gb and to a 1tb ssd. It boots in about 3 seconds. Using bootcamp windows boots in about 5 seconds. You can't go wrong

When I bought my first Apple MacBook, I bought it because the price was very good. You can read my story here. I figured I can finally see what the Mac world was like. Of course, I found myself not really using it for much. I surfed the net, installed...

It runs fast, more reliable than windows since not many viruses for Mac at the moment. Great design too.
