I am very happy about this netbook

I use the Acer aspire one 533 mainly to write on, surf the web, watching videos and play lite games such as World of Goo and Peggle. And it is just perfect for just that. The only minor bad thing about the Acer aspire one 533 is that it could use some more power, but that isn't any surprise since it is a common problem with netbooks now a days. You can of course put another block of ram in it, but it really shod come implemented with 2 Gb of ram. All in all is it a very good netbook for the price I bought it for and I would really recommend for others who need a little compact netbook for school or studies.

Comfortable keyboard, Fast, Good battery life, Compact

A bit slow, Poor Display Screen

Review Acer Aspire One 533-13Drr Netbook

Fast and Elegant? Acer now also has a DDR3 netbook with an Intel ...

Modern design and good workmanship ; Good ergonomics ; Battery runtimes ; Unoccupied Mini PCI Express slot ; Mobile technologies

Average performance ; Poor extendability ; Small vents ; Average loudspeakers

The outstanding ergonomics, the elevated display, the simple design in three colors and a fast DDR3-10600 RAM

Perfect for Purpose

It is only a netbook (with 1GB RAM). Do not think you can open three different internet browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer) and be listening to iTunes simultaneously and have a smoothly operating system. That is not the netbook's fault...

10.1 inch.....that is really small....(it's awesome) ; 3 pounds ; 8 hour battery ; 3 USB ports ; Great Price ; 250 GB HDD ;

It comes with Windows 7 Starter...which means no customizable desktops. But that has nothing to do with the netbook ; The multi-gesture it kind of glitchy...but seriously people? We aren't really looking for a $1000+ Mac Book Pro now are we

Great little machine

Great buy for a basic user or user needing basic use.

I have a couple of these NetBooks. They are great for web browsing, MS Office Utilities, and portability. I would highly recommend one for users that need a basic machine to use around your house when you need quick access to the internet or to play music

I wish they could figure out how to squeeze a DVD player into one of these and they would be perfect. I wouldn't recommend one of these for applications requireing high performance or graphics utilization

I really like it

I have no problems with Windows 7 Starter. Really easy to pickup after XP. Don't expect this to be rocking with flash or processor intensive stuff. Great for homework, email, web browsing.

Small, great battery life, lightweight, fast enough

Comes with some bloatware

Great netbook.

I got this netbook in blue, but since that color is no longer on the website I'm reviewing the black.  I was a little weary since I wasn't familiar with the brand, but I've had no problems with this netbook.  I wanted something light and easy to...
