Asus 1015E review: 10 inch notebook with a Celeron 847 CPU - Liliputing

That’s not a bad price for a 2.8 pound computer with an Intel Celeron dual-core processor, a 1366 x 768 pixel display, and Windows 8 software. While it’s not the fastest, thinnest, or lightest laptop around, it’s the only 10 inch...

Asus 1015E

If you are looking for an ultraportable 10-inch netbook, the Asus 1015E gives you just that, along with cloud storage and a large hard drive.

The low-voltage Sandy Bridge CPU saves money and helps your home go green

The small screen takes a step down in resolution from traditional laptops, making it harder to read small text

If you mainly browse the internet, watch Netflix or want to work on some projects away from the office or school, you may like the mobility of this netbook.

ASUS 1015E-DS01

Would of been nice to have a little more ram, but 2gb works if you have swap space installed. Like mentioned above just add SSD and you will have a good Netbook that will last years. Not having a touch screen to me for a product like this is not really...

This makes a wonderful Linux netbook, if you need to safe a few dollars just get this version same as the Linux version and hardware is supported. Just put your favorite distro and it will work well ; I am dual booting and linux runs much faster then...

Comes with Windows big negative as you have to pay the Windows tax, but it was cheap. Bios was not the most current version, but updated works fine

Asus netbook

Light & easy to use. Should have more info about use of keyboard. Stated in the advertisement that it had Bluetooth- it did not! Great experience with J&R - fast shipment Would buy from them again.

Advertised as 64 Bit, yet all the software installed is just 32 bits.On top of that, this is the slooowest system I have ever used. And Windows 8 aint so great!

Mini Asus Awesomeness

Firstly, I'd to say that I purchased the Asus G73-XT1JW gaming computer two and a half years ago and it STILL is going awesomely strong. Since that purchase, I've been more prone to buy all things computer-wise in the Asus brand, simply because they...

not linux friendly

Overall I'm very disappointed. I wanted to go with an Atom netbook which would have MUCH better performance-per-watt, but I couldn't find anything with an Atom that looked good, so I chose this. I guess I should have looked harder, because from what I...

It has a nice-looking screen compared to my old Atom netbook from 2010. It works

It is not linux friendly. My plan was to install lubuntu, but this turned out to be impossible since lubuntu does not support the new UEFI alternative to BIOS. So instead I am forced to install some other distro. I chose xubuntu 64 ; Or at least I...
