The Asus A6V

I was pleased to find that the AC Adapter is small and can be plugged into a relatively low power cigarette lighter adapter in my car. One of the best uses for a laptop (in my opinion) is taking it on the road and using a GPS receiver package (I...

Lightweight, standard native resolution (1280x800), high gaming potential, overall great performance, small AC Adapter, cost effective, very good looking, very comfortable to use

Slightly washed out colors on display, low video memory, slow hard drive (though it hasn't been a hindrance yet), keyboard weirdness - every once in a while a key press won't appear on the screen, dual latch on lid is somewhat cumbersome

Asus A6V review

Though it is powerful for a business machine, the lack of security features sidelines the Asus A6V as a serious business machine.

Discrete graphics card; tough carbon fiber exterior; plays music discs without bootup; integrated Webcam; wide array of connectivity options

Thick and heavy; poor speaker position; no easy access USB ports; stiff touchpad buttons; no security features for a business notebook; poor battery life

The notebook has impressive processing and graphics power for a business machine. However, the lack of security features is a glaring omission which alienates those who require data protection.

Good video card, 2 year warranty, onboard webcam, dual layer DVD+R, -R, RAM
